Good Morning 2013 Hopefuls... a couple of quick notes:

The question was posted a couple of times on this thread regarding the Mickey Moms Club, and what it is, or I should say "was." The MMC was created as a special place for Moms Panel applicants who did not become panelists. It was a website with a community component. Moms could post tips and participate in polls. Anyway, it seems to have fizzled out. I think it was partially replaced with the Disney Parks InsidEARS Beta site, but the InsidEARS group is comprised of all sorts of folks, not just past Moms Panel candidates.

If you log into the MMC page now, it directs you to other Disney sites, like MomsPanel, runDisney, Disney Parks Blogs, etc.

I got the email for this after I applied last year or the year before and it would never let me log in.

Thanks for posting this. I think I read that in previous years, they extended an invitation to this MMC and even sent out a car magnet or something like that.

I had planned to really throw myself into my work today, to help distract me from thinking about this process. Then I get to work and find out our database (the primary focal point of my job) isn't allowing anybody to log in. So much for that plan!

I think the November date is for final notification. Most of us will have a final answer in early October

Thanks for stopping in! I am sure I can speak for many of us in the Waiting Room when I say that visits from current and former Moms definitely makes the journey more 'real'

Subbing in! I had been wondering when the app process would begin. I could have sworn I received emails from the Moms Panel in the past so I was waiting to hear. Yesterday evening, I was reading my AllEars newsletter and it mentioned the Moms Panel was taking applications!!! I hurried over to the site and applied! I was so afraid that I wouldn't finish before the max number of applications was received but it worked. I have applied every year since the beginning and haven't made it past round 1. Here's hoping for this year!

Okay now I am freaking out about my answer to this question....


"My favorite hotel at the Disneyland Resort has a special feature. Select the feature below with the correct hotel where it's located."

I answered it to be my personal favorite feature....but now I am wondering what does Disney consider a feature? AND are they talking about my personal favorite feature....or are they talking about the author who wrote the question...which I am guessing would be Laura Spencer????

I think BaseballMickey also answered this and I agree - there were a few correct answers, so I think as long as you picked ANY of the correct answers, you'll be good.

OMG so I am stumped...I called Disney Technical support today to ask them why I have 3 different accounts. they told me they would "fix" it. I asked if it would affect my mom's panel application...the lady said no. So she reset my password...I went in and checked to see if I could apply (wanting to make sure it was still telling me I had already applied) and guess what IT'S SAYING I NEVER APPLIED!!! So I guess now I have to re-apply but I also dont want them to think someone is submitting the same answers as another person...what do I do? Does anyone know if there is a mom's panel technical support I could call?

Yikes Heather! I can understand why you're feeling freaked out. Since applications are tied to the account/email address used, I'm assuming the e-mail that is now the primary one for your account is not the one which was tied to the application (which is why it would look like you haven't applied). I don't think this would cause an issue with them having received your Round 1 application, but it might cause problems if you are selected to move on to Round 2.

This is the email address on the main page for the application, so I would try to contact them today and see if they can help clarify and resolve this issue for you: memberservices@wdw.twdc.com
