I got the same email, but haven't received the second one either... Everyone else?

Me neither. I thought it was odd that the confirmation email would say that we would receive a confirmation email!!

I only received the first email as well. I applied on Monday.

I only received the first email too...and I double checked spam and trash folders just to be sure...

It's going to be a long two months!
I'm not sure which would be harder, not making it past round 1. Or going further and then being cut.

I can answer this one from personal experience.

WAY WAY WAY harder to get to round 3 (the interview) and get cut. At least it was for me. I made it that far the first year I applied, and then got cut in the 1st round last year. Getting let go in Rd 1 was so much easier for me to handle.

But the experience and the friendships I made through that process was totally worth it. It was an incredible honor to get that far and to speak to the Moms Panel Pink Princess herself in the interview.

But oh so crushing to have her tell me "Not this year."

Thought for sure this morning when I was finally able to submit my app that I would get declined bc the max number of apps had already been received! How glad was I when it went through!!! Phew!

I said to my husband last year, that I'd rather be cut at round 2 then round 3. I can't imagine how hard that must have been!

I was just thinking that it has never bothered me before about not being picked lol but now being here I'm almost sad. As everyone here I eat drink and breathe Disney and talk about it all the time. When I tell my neighbors that I'm going on vacation to disney they are like again!!!!

When I got divorced I was so afraid that it wouldn't feel the same without my ex since we had honeymooned there and have been together a lot but it seems so much more magical to me now. I lo0ve to bring new people there with my dvc this year I brought my boyfriends youngest son (19) I was worried about him being older and not getting it. Well Disney worked its magic after he said to us I'm not pin trading or hugging characters 2 days into the trip we were on a hunt for Tigger his favorite and I kept losing him and his dad pin trading.

I would have to say I am so excited to be in this process with all of you and am grateful that there are others out there like me who have such a deep love for all things Disney.

Subbing in! I had been wondering when the app process would begin. I could have sworn I received emails from the Moms Panel in the past so I was waiting to hear. Yesterday evening, I was reading my AllEars newsletter and it mentioned the Moms Panel was taking applications!!! I hurried over to the site and applied! I was so afraid that I wouldn't finish before the max number of applications was received but it worked. I have applied every year since the beginning and haven't made it past round 1. Here's hoping for this year!

I have also applied each year and each year I have never made it past round one. I am still using my cute little pink MMC lunch box that they sent out as "consolidation" prizes and the MMC magnets are on my fridge. Nobody says "you stink" quite as nicely as WDW. Each year I also tell myself that I'll apply, put it out of my mind and hope for the best and each year I end up stalking this thread to see when round 2 notifications are being seen.

It's all good.

Any time i usually have an extra sleeping spot this year took my mom and dad again me my three kids my boyfriend his son and my boyfriends sister. The year before same crew but swapped out boyfriends son for his mom I always have a crew for down there and love it.

I wish we had DVC unless we win the lotto....

For now we rent points when we can find a great deal on them or stay at Pop which we really love!

I do have to say that I am blessed to have the DVC which is why I find it so important to share it with my family and friends. My ex and I only used it once just for our family and I have owned it for 9 years its hard to believe.

Hi All,
I've seen some posts about the possibility that a computer program is used for the first round i.e. if any of the multiple choice questions are wrong, the application doesn't move forward and also possibly that "key words" are used to assess the 100-word question. Does anyone know if this is true? Any thoughts on what the key words would be? ... pixie dust, magic ...
Like many of you I felt that 100 words was very short and feel like I didn't get enough personal info across as I really tried to stick to the question BUT it would be very difficult for them to wade through everyone's stories at this stage - 14000!

I wouldn't be surprised if they used a computer, it makes sense to me. Why bother reading an essay if they don't have the questions correct?
