:wave2: again... back for another try!! Just submitted... boy, is it hard for a "wordy" person to say it all in 100 words!! Yikes!

That was my answer, too... that was when I first heard about it, during the first application process. Hoping that's the right answer, or at least ONE of the right answers, seeing as for many it was probably years later. :scratchin

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: to all of us... and to all the current Mom's Panel moms who are cheering us on -- THANK YOU!! :cool1:

I think as long as you didn't put prior to 2007, it's all good.

I just submitted my application!!!! XX (Fingers crossed!!)
The submit button always makes me nervous too. I check and re-check my answers like 20 times!!! I drive myself crazy sometimes!!!
:cool1::cool1::crazy2::crazy2::joker::joker::hyper::hyper::banana::banana:
Glad I will be waiting with such a cool bunch of people!!!!
Pixie dust to everyone!!!:tinker:pixiedust:

Phew! That's a load off my mind! It's so hard to hit that submit button. The confirmation email says only those selected for the next round will be contacted. Is this new this year? I thought I remembered people getting rejection emails last year... :scratchin

I checked everything about 20 times as well! I was just about to hit, "submit" and my desktop computer froze (it's never done that before). :badpc: So, I had to boot up the laptop and start all over (and check over everything 20 times again). Needless to say, I was totally freaking out! LOL

And, of course, the desktop is working perfectly now....

All right, my application is in! Now back to my regularly scheduled work day, already in progress....:surfweb:
What did everyone put for the special ingredient in the Dole Whip?
pixiedust:all around!

it said that last year as well, but everyone got an email either way. Well, almost everyone, I remember 2 or 3 people that I don't think ever got an email after round two. :confused3 I felt awful for them.

Well, my application is in too. I kept my answer direct and to the point this year with no adjectives. Let's hope that works to get me past the first round for once!:goodvibes

Application in. Email confirmation received. :thumbsup2

I wanted to just hit submit without reviewing my answer and changing my essay a dozen times ... but that's just not me. So ended up modifying my 100 words about 5 or was it 10? different times.:rotfl:

I think it gets harder each year to limit my words to 100.:lmao:

Blessings and pixie magic everyone!

was there only 1, 100 word question last year for WDW? I feel like there was more, but I might be thinking about round 2, which had 3 I think.

anyone else a second guesser? I'm worried I skipped a question and missed something! even with checking it a million times over lol!

Last year, WDW panel round 1 had TWO essay questions. Favorite WDW Resort and How do you research and share the magic or something like that.

In round 2, these were the questions:
  • In 100 words or less tell us your favorite planning tip for someone visiting Walt Disney World Resort for the first time.
  • Tell us how you help others plan their vacations to Walt Disney World Resort in 100 words or less.
  • If someone you know were planning a vacation, tell us in 100 words or less why you would recommend a Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
  • Describe your favorite adult indulgences/activities you enjoy while at Walt Disney World Resort.
  • Are you fluent in any languages other than English?

The language question has moved to round 1. Hmm... can I select OTHER and then type "DISNEY" in the box?? :scratchin

A lot of luck goes into things like this. I remember when I was going through the rounds for ultimate fan there were plenty of people right here on the DIS who knew way more than I did, and probably could have done a better job than I did I'm sure. I still to this day don't know how I got it. :lmao: It's just one of those weird mystical forces of the universe (do I sound like Oprah??) ;) Thank goodness for the DISboards ::yes:: obsessed planners like us can come together to help people with their vacations while feeding our own addiction to the mouse! ::MickeyMo I'm excited to see what happens!!!! :hyper: GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!!

At work, figured I would submit at naptime and of course the WiFi passcode they gave me isn't working! Guess I'll have to wait until tonight and hope the 14k isn't reached by then.

I had the same thought!!! I was going to put "Pirate" though. :joker: I didn't. But I thought about it. :thumbsup2

You mean you didn't, Patty? But you ARE fluent! :thumbsup2 I seriously considered putting down Disney-ease....but didn't have courage. Dangit.
