Well everyone I am very proud of me because per the scale this morning I have lost 5 lbs in the month of June! Feels so good to hit a goal for a change. :) I've added a clippie to my signature which means

:rockband: CLIPPIE PARTY!!!!! :rockband:

On a serious note though I have noticed myself slipping a bit. I think it is because once the water weight is shed and my clothes start feeling better I get lazy. I'm comfortable here and I let myself slip up until I'm back to feeling miserable again. The good news is that I recognize the cycle. The bad news is that I'm not sure how to stop it.

Today is my free day! Which means no worrying about food today. I'm going to enjoy it as well! I have a nice and relaxing weekend ahead of me and I'm going to savor it.

By the way earned :) :) :) smilies yesterday for water, vitamins, and exercise.

Plan today:
food: free day :)
exercise: rest day :)
water: 8 glasses (2/8 already done)
vitamins: with breakfast!

Thank you to everyone for the encouragement! I wish I had an idea for a reward of some kind - but I'm drawing a blank here ;) Seems that I am working at so many goals right now for the big payoff. Perhaps I will reward myself with a new outfit ;)

Good Morning everyone! Thanks for all the well wishes! It is always nice to come here and see all the differen smilies! :cloud9:

Yesterday was a good day. Lots of business at work which is good, then a relaxing night with friends over pizza. Perfect. Today we were up bright and early so that DH and the neighbor (Eric) could run to the Home Depot and pick up some drywall. They've been moving it since 7:30 this morning. Poor guys. I on the other hand have been picking up around the house, started laundry, and got dougnnuts for the guys.

Plan today - I'm sort of going without a plan. I decided to skip curves. I know I might regret this decision later - but I felt the need to get things done around here. We are suppose to go to a festival tonight with some friends but I think we are going to skip it. Mostly because I asked them to help us move the the dry wall and they said they had to "clean" all morning. The guys would have been done with an extra set of hands. So, I'm not feeling very festive right now. Might just stay home with DH and watch a rented movie and eat popcorn.

Yesterday was an okay day. I got up and had 1 fried egg with cheese, and 2 slices of bacon. I walked 4.2 miles with Susan and then had a slice of low carb bread w/peanut butter for lunch. DH, Dad, and I went and spent close to $200 on fireworks and invited the neighbors, and my brother's family over for a BBQ and fireworks. WE HAD A BLAST! Food and drinks got a little iffy though. We have so much ice cream in the house right now due to the BBQ - and ice cream is a HUGE weak point for me. There is a pint of Ben and Jerry's in there calling my name - I am going to make a deal with myself. If I can stick to my plan today through Thursday I will allow myself the ice cream on Friday.

Plan for today:
Water - 8 glasses, need LOTS of it.
Exercise - Curves is closed today so I may go for a 2 mile lap in the subdivision.
Food: 35 carbs or less
b: 3 slices of bacon
l: left over ribs from the BBQ and some celery sticks.
d: Not sure yet.

Hey! Happy 4th! The BBQ sounds like fun. I caved to ice cream yesterday too...it's the summer, what are you going to do ;)

It sounds like you had a rockin' 4th, Amanda! You're the only other person I know that spent more than we did on fireworks (DH spent about $180, gulp), but I have to agree with you--they are a blast! :p Especially combined with family, fun, and ICE CREAM! (Too bad I didn't think of that ice cream part.)

Now stick to this deal you made with yourself--you'll be glad you did! You've set aside this free day, and it's the perfect day to indulge in your B and J treat. Only a few more days, princess: Amanda!

I had the best of intentions! Yesterday didn't quite go as planned. :blush: But I'm putting it behind me. I'm going to count Monday as my free day which means no free day this weekend! We'll see how it goes. Getting to Curves this week is going to be a challenge. I work 10 - 12 hour days the rest of the week. We have plans Friday night after work, Saturday we have a bbq w/mom and then going out htat night, Sunday I have a baby shower. Another fun filled weekend.

I've decided that there will be no exercise today - I am just WAY to tired. But tomorrow depending on what time I get home I'll either go for a 2 or 4 mile walk. Same on Thursday.

Plan for today:
Food: 35 carbs or less
currently no menu planned.
b: coffee - 5 carbs
Water: 6 to 8 glasses :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:
Exercise: Rest Day :cool:
Vitamins: With my coffee :)

I'm feeling stronger today. I'm in a power outfit although it is a little tight and that is making me self-conscious. I'm trying to work through that though.

Exercise: If I get home early enough I will go for a 1 to 2 mile walk
Water: 8 glasses (3/8 gone!)

I peaked at the scale today - I'm at 165lbs so I'm up a pound. I'm hoping to flush that out of my system today if possible. I know if I can get my walk in that it will help out big time.

Such long work days!! I hope you do get a chance for an easy stroll around the neighborhood, though. It'll be hard to get out there and start but I bet you'd feel so much better after just 15-20 minutes of walking. Now I'm off to take my own advice and walk around my building at work. :p

This week has been an ongoing struggle and I can't seem to get in to any groove at all. Today my stomach HURTS, probably from all the carby junk food. I've decided that I am going to lay out my goals and I am really going to set forth to reach at least one of them. One I can handle right now, more then that is questionable. Hopefully next week I'll be able to get back into some sort of routine.

Scale is holding steady at 165lbs

Plan for today:
Food: 35 carbs
b: 3 egg omelet
l: tuna salad / leftover bbq
d: ????
Exercise: 2 mile walk
Water: 8 glasses
Vitamins: take with breakfast.

I'm thinking I'll concentrate on the water today and as I said hopefully everything else will fall into place.

I wish I could say my schedule tomorrow was better :(
