Amanda & Eric 03/03/10- WP/WHP/Sago Cay Centerpiece Ideas!

All hail the queen:worship:! (Sorry I couldn't resist using that guy)

Good thing Eric is practicing, so funny!

:lmao:

How long of a cruise are you guys thinking now?

What kind of invites are they? I'm always up for stuff like that you know that!:cool1:
If we cruise, it will be the 3 night that leaves on Thursdays. Did I tell you we picked the Poly for our free night :lovestruc

Colors- I love colors! I can't wait to help.:goodvibes

Oh can't you just pick for me??

Here is my dilema. I have been picturing bright, bold colors. But then I fell in love...

blue-hyacinth-boquet_300.jpg

But I still love the idea of Lauren in green with bright pink flowers and pink shoes!!

Then I asked Eric who said Blue and Orange:rolleyes: (lol I thought of you Dawn!) but really said any color is fine.

I never pictured our wedding blue and green but I can't get that bouquet out of my mind. I think it fits my dress perfectly!!!

Any and ALL suggestions welcome!!!

That blue really is stunning! It's like a proper Disney blue aswell! :)

Lauren could wear a green dress and have the blue flowers, or a blue dress with pink flowers?

Alfred angelo have gorgeous dresses in that shade of blue, and I'm always drawn to it! (Riviera sky I think it's called, and also maybe cornflower blue)

Any colour will be pretty, but if this one is specil in your mind then maybe thats the one!

What makes you feel happier?

a) Lauren in green with pink flowers.

b) You holding that bouquet? And then maybe lauren in green with blue flowers.

Also, I think it'd be fine for her to have brigt flowers different to yours anyway, all flowers are nnice flowers in my books!

Yay for the contract!!!!

Purple is always going to hold my vote, BUT since it's pretty much out of the running... Sigh! :rotfl2:

Seriously though Mandy, I really think the blue and green are very nice together! I think the colors are very romantic, especially with that bouquet! :thumbsup2 I'm sure it would be stunning along with your dress!

Blue and orange!! LOL! Ok Now I will really try to help!

Some questions first and I know you may not know all so just do your best:

1) Are you leaning towards a more formal or casual wedding?

2) What flowers do you like- forget colors, just flower types?

3) What are your favorite corlors now? Imeediately when you read this what comes to mind?

Answer this and I will come up with ideas.

I have to vote for the blue and green. I really like that bouquet! I think it'll look amazing in the wedding pavillion! I also love how the silk wrapped around the bouquet is a very bold royal blue.... its lovely.

OK...please keep in mind that I have a strange way of justifying colors. For example, I couldn't say I was using red and gold b/c it reminded me of McDonalds...So, with that being said...My vote is for the blue and green. They are elegant-just like your dress. The blue makes a statement and the green is the perfect accent.

Now, I love the green and bright pink combination. I love the bold statement that it makes...and for an outdoor wedding I would probably lean more that way...heck I even considered mint green and light pink...but that reminds me of a watermelon. And in my happy little warped world I couldn't do that.

I hope I didn't offend anyone. Like I said...I have a strange view on colors. :rolleyes1

I love the royal blue and green too but I know Mandy is conflicted between this, paler blues, purple, pink, everything!!!! There are so many awesome colors out there I think she is nervous to finally pick one because that means NOT picking all the other colors out there too!

Why did I not know you get a free night? That is our favorite hotel!! Today I tried to go online and figure out how much staying at a Deluxe would cost us and WDW website says you can't book any later than December 31, 2009. Is that weird??

Colors are your hardest thing to decide on huh? You seem to be sticking with green no matter which color combo you go with so that's a step in the right direction!

I think you should do the blue and green as well... but have pops of pink color! Like in that bouquet you love, why not wrap it in pink ribbon? For inspiration, a quick photoshop of how it could look (bright and happy!):

You could have the bridesmaids wear blue for instance, wear pink/green beaded jewelry, and hold small bouquets of pink and green tulips, like below:

That way, you don't have to choose! :rotfl: Three colors are definitely doable, just stick with two major ones (blue and green) and smaller accents on the third throughout your wedding items (ribbon accents for bouquets and invites, jewelry, flower petals for the aisle, etc...).

I think the 2010 prices come out in Aug or Sept. HTHs

Ok I pick B...I truly love that bouquet!! Lauren in green with blue flowers may be pretty too...

Lol I should have read this post first!!!

1) More formal, but an elegan formal. Not stuffy if that makes sense.
2) I love Peony's!! I heard they don't stand up well though. I like lilies and hydrangeas....and hyacinths now!!

3) Favorite colors...always pink!! Purple has never been my favorite until I started wedding planning!!

I love the way it's wrapped too!! I think the colors go well with our location. I know a lot of people say just pick what you like, but I have seen colors at the WP I just didn't like.

LOL omg that was too funny. I totally understand what you mean though. I think I am leaning toward the blue and green because they are so elegant.

That is exactly why I am stuck!!! If I make up my mind, I leave all those other colors out. How do you think that makes them feel :rotfl:

You can call I believe and get 2010 room only prices, just not package prices.

OMG I Love what you did to "my" bouquet!!! That just might work. Thank you thank you thank you!

I may need to do a little research and think about blue, green and pink!!

Agreed! Some colors just clash with that green and pink carpeting! :rotfl:

Thank you again! I am so excited!

OH I like the new colors!! Blue, pink and green

I think I do too.

I ordered some samples from Cards and Pockets so I can play with colors when they get here.

I am still debating but both Eric and I love this:

I'm having trouble finding a blue cake I like though.

Oh yay!!! I think this is the best alternative. The blue is a great substitute for the purple. AND I have my something blue :lmao:

And they do have the dress...I saw it when my mom and I were there!!!

I found a blue cake in my picture stash, don't know if it is your style, but here it is:

cake38.jpg

Maybe with green or white lines going up and a big, pink flower! :goodvibes

I like this but I am always concerned when I find a cake I like but not in the exact colors. I really don't want to go to Disney and say I like this but in other colors. I remember Lurkyloo's cake ended up the wrong colors.
