Am I the only one who brings Disney to a non-Disney situation??

Case in point. For the past couple days I have smelled something in our back yard and the road going to work. Both times I thought "somebody has let Figment loose in the smell room again" as both times it was a skunk!!
Please someone tell I am not the only one who does this....and then share your example!! ;-)

i am always being accused, by a particular friend, of bringing Disney into every thing. the funny thing is that friend now works for a company that is developing some new technology for Disney and i can throw it back in his face that everything does revolve around Disney

I recently got to go to the beach out near LA. While there I thought to myself: "This beach smells EXACTLY like Soarin'!" Seriously, they did an awesome job with the beach smell. I'm probably the only one that goes to the beach and thinks Disney. Our NH beaches smell nothing like that.

I cannot remember where we were and I did the same exact thing - "Hey, it smells like Soarin'!" Luckily, DH and the kids understand.

Glad to know I am not alone.

NO my DD, DH and I all do it! We are often heard to say oh that reminds me of Disney! I even bought ordered some wax tarts online once b/c ppl mentioned it smelled like the GF lobby! LOL

BTW that couldn't have been a pleasant smell if it reminded you of Figment! LOL

I was waiting at the bus stop for a doctors appointment this morning and I wished I was waiting for the bus to a theme park!

And I constantly talk about our trip. Like everyday. Either that, or our 2015 trip and what I want to do LOL.

We are the same way at our house!! My DH told me that my body spray smelled like Disney the other day. We are always comparing smells to Soarin or a ride or lobby at one of the resorts. We never stop talking about the food either. Can't wait to return to our home away from home!!

There is this restaurant on the ground floor of my work building that every once in a while cooks something that smells exactly like the smell when you walk in the AKL Lobby. You know, that kind of meat smell coming from Boma? Everytime I smell it, it makes me happy and just for a second I can pretend that I am back "home".

In the summer when it is humid and the basement (or wherever we are) smells musty, ds7 says "Ahhh I love that smell. Smells like Pirates!"

No it was NOT a very pleasant smell but it still reminded me if Figment!! Lol!!
