I have a friend who keeps bringing up the idea of buying a 4 day ticket through Undercover Tourist and then just getting her free day tickets for their 5th day once she gets to Disney. Below is my advice to her. Please let me know if the scenario or math is wrong. I am using today's prices on Disney's website and know that the prices will increase a little bit when ticket prices are raised in August. Here it is:
If you buy a 4 day ticket from Undercover Tourist, it would cost $232.95 for the 3 adults and $198.95 for the child. Then you would just get your free 1 day ticket from Disney (which is valued at $79 for adults and $68 for kids). You would not be able to have your free day voucher applied to your Undercover Tourist ticket, you would just use your free day out-right.
If you wait until you get to Disney, you will buy a 5 day ticket for the gate price of $228 for the 3 adults & Ashley and $195 for the child. Then they will deduct the price of a 1 day park ticket ($79 and $68) making your final price (not including taxes):
Adults: $228-$79 = $149 each
Kids: $149 - $68 = $127 each
Is this correct? Thanks so much!
