I started off planning on just at JUST ASMo's for our 15 nights. But with the new codes and this being our "once in a lifetime" trip I have decided to stay the first 9 days at ASMo and then 2 night each at WL, GF, & AKL. Is this too much??

Here's what you need to consider on the 2 days each at the hotels you listed....do you REALLY want to take your park time or pool time away by having to pack up and leave every other day??!! I would be pooped by the final move unless you're doing the 9 day stay last, then you'll have time to recover. I know the codes really make for some great prices, but why don't you stick to the 9 days at ASMo and pick one other resort you really want to stay at for your final stay. Maybe even two because then you could do 9 at one at 3 at the other two. That would be MUCH more relaxing for me anyway. :jester:
Just a suggestion and GOOD LUCK!!!!!
:p

I shouldn't be answering this cause I like to hotel hop, I would do it that way you can experience the different hotels. I live out of my suitcase so that doesn't bother me and I don't have little kids, another factor why I hop. have a great trip no matter what you decide

The question is really what do you want to do on vacation? Do you want to spend the majority of your second week exploring the different hotels or do you want to spend time in the parks and other area attractions? Checking into a resort always eats up time and you usually have to spend some time "homeless" every day. It's not "wrong" but you would probably get more enjoyment out of your stays if you spent more time at each and really got to know the resort. I think I'd go with one additional hotel or, if you want to cut the cost of a GF stay, with two hotels.

This was DH ultimate response to the idea! He thought it would be more fun to make one resort our "home" for the trip

Of course we are only going for 7 days so maybe we would feel differently if we were going for over 2 weeks.......

I resort hop all the time at WDW and it is a great way to experience the different resorts and resort locations at WDW but 3 resorts in 6 days is A LOT! I would pick the 1 you really want to stay at the most or maybe either WL or AKL and then GF but definitely not all 3, you will use up a lot more vacation time then you think with the packing, unpacking and the very real chance of not having a room to go to until 3:00 or later can be a hassle also.

After some thought I decided to to eliminate the WL and go with 3 nights at GF and then 3 nights at AKL. Those are the two that were at the top of the list.

It sound like you've made up your mind, but here's my two cents ...

With 15 nights, you will have PLENTY of time to see the parks and hang out at the pool. If experiencing different resorts sounds fun to you, I would do it.

Especially if your changing is at the end of the trip. (Our trip usually gets less intense as we go along ...)
