Am I being paranoid?

I have been on a waiting list with Disney for BWV with Sept UY for several months. Because nothing at all has come up in the past 3 months, I just put in an offer for BWV on TSS. My Disney guide actually recommended this. Now I worried that Disney will use the ROFR so I have to pay $22 more per point (if I'd buy from them) since they know that I'm on the waiting list. I offered more per point than recent sales that passed through. Am I just being paranoid?

Don't sweat it.. I doubt your guide will run to the ROFR folks in order to set up a plot against you.
You are also making the assumption you are the first on the list for Sept BWV.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear. Plus, I know that there are a few people a head of me on the waiting list so that makes perfect sense...... so I guess I was being paranoid

I don't think you were being paranoid. Nobody knows entirely what goes into Disney's decision to ROFR a contract so it is reasonable to wonder about it. It probably would have crossed my mind too.

Good luck with your contract. Be sure to post it on Donalds #1 ROFR thread so we can see how it turns out!

The folks at TSS are pros and know what price will or won't pass ROFR.
If your bid had been too low they would have said something.

Also, I have heard that Disney is not exercising ROFR much lately for anything except VB. No one seems to know why.

Really? Vero? I did notice it seemed like the p/pt there dropped a bit. I do know a few others that have been ROFR'd. There really doesn't apear to be a rhyme or reason but I am sure Disney knows!

They never finished building the resort to its original capacity due to the hurricane. Could there be new interest in adding on to the present size?
