Am Emh??

We will be at WDW Jan 1 to 7. Every park officially opens at 9 am. On AM EMH days, do the parks open at 8 am or is it earlier? I usually don't go to AM EMH, but DH and older kids do. I just meet them a bit later with younger kids. But I'd like to try to go this time!! We'll see if I get the necessary kid cooperation!!
