Alunai...........opening dates and booking?!!!

I just put in say 3 at Marriott Ko Olina mid September, 2010 mid week, comparison rate for oceanfront "studio", leisure rate, not advance purchase rate is $311 I believe, with tax, $354 per night!

Points on chart Adventure Season, I think Sept.4 or later is 25/night for ocean front studio...I usually use $10 per point as an "average"...Thats a cash equivalent of $250 per night...Marriott Rates above are $354 incuding tax for same time period!!

I wouldn't be proud of my DVC Investment if I didn't say that I truly believe that DVC Ko Olina Aulani will be a superior product! Newer, fresher...that goes without saying!!!!!!:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

The addition of Ko Alina I truly believe will make a DVC Investment even more desirable!!!!!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Thanks for sharing the rate. I guess even with my disney points from my credit card it will probably be a bit too expensive for us. Oh well. The rest of you enjoy and I will drool as I look at your pictures :)

The points chart is posted over at dvcmember.com ... click the link for the 2011 charts.

Thanks! I had no idea it was there! DH and I have accumulated enough miles for 4 r/t tickets to Hawaii! Ive been waiting to see the points chart so I can figure out how to bank enough points to get us at least 7 nights. I think with a 14 hour flight, it may be more like 9 nights. I think we will have to stick with a studio, if we can even get a ressie!

I am impressed with your 4 r/t tickets and even more so when I saw you are from Maine (too). Is this though the air lines?

thanks

Its not through an airline, its a cc through our credit union. Its really not all that impressive. Its taken about 8 years! I kept telling dh to switch to a cc with better rewards but we just never got around to it. finally we said we would just keep it unit we had enough for 4 tickets and switch after that. in 8 years with a cash back card we could have done better....maybe. BUT who cares now. We're going to Hawaii!
