I lost my mom not quite three years ago to cancer and just lost my father a month ago, so this birthday has been a little tough (I never thought at 43 I'd be celebrating my birthday without either of the people who brought me into this world). Thanks for giving me a smile!

It'll be 4 years this April that I lost my mom to cancer. Our first trip to the Poly was supposed to include her but she died before she could see it--yet another reason why the Poly is so special to me.
