Oh you missed it, in his other hand he had my son's Star Wars gun & daughters pink purse, as this picture was being taken he specifically made the comment "Now people are going to think I'm a STAR WARS NUT" (he was holding them for my son) HAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA--

Also the torpedo toilet did not sound as loud in my video than it really is!!

Since this will be my first time at the Poly I will probably be asking alot of questions. I will start with my first ones lol.
I was reading the schedule of events at the Poly on Tikimans site and there is a pool party. What exactly do they do at the pool party ?
What activities do they offer that a 9 year old girl would like?
I also want to know is the Spirit of Aloha worth going to ?
And which do you like best Kona or Ohana to eat at ? I already have a 9:40 pm reservation at Ohana's. I know that is late but it was all I could get, so I'm guessing it may be the best restaurant at the Poly. I think that is all the questions I have for now .

Actually we had alot of pics with awesome looking clouds and we played cloud game on buses and monorail, so many Mickey heads in clouds...

3. I prefer Kona over Ohana, I've been a number of occasions to both. I've specifically been to Ohana's at 9:45pm ressie, It felt like no one was there, it lost all excitement, I felt rushed and tired. I like food at Kona better and wonderful service. Just my opinion, Ohana has great breakfast..

Yeah I always think how thankful I am to be even going trust me. It would be my dream to stay there and maybe in the tulvalu building with the park view. So beautiful there. Plus got to love the Dole Whip Machine in the food court.

This upcoming vacation, Feb.2012, we are staying in one of the Royal Guest themed rooms with River View at the POR. So cant wait to see what that is like. Maybe next vacation in 2013 we can stay at the poly.

Thanks for all the info ! Im going to keep trying to get an earlier ressie at Ohana. I'm not sure if I want to spend 2 credits on the SOA so we may skip that. I may have to try Kona, is it less expensive then Ohana's ? I think I will have all my dining plan TS meals booked up and may have to do OOP.

That's exactly how I felt...TO EXPENSIVE ! But I went ahead and said the heck with I'm going to the Poly ! I did have reservations at POFQ and switched to Poly and had them put the extra on my Disney Visa which gives you 6 months no interest on Disney vacations. Mine was 900.00 extra but I have never been to the Poly and have always wanted to go since the very first time I started planning trips to Disney which was about 10 years ago. I did get 25% off making our room 289.00 a night. It was a special going on for the public on the Offical Disney World web site.

Just keep an eye out for discounts and check your mail and email for discount pins. If your lucky you can get maybe 35 to 40 % off for Poly. If not you will enjoy POR it is a really nice resort. I know we stayed in the Mansion section when we were there and I thought it was a long walk to the food and buses, but then again every time I was thinking that was when my legs were worn out from walking the parks lol.

Those Poly rates seem kinda high are you sure they are for a standard room. I'm no Poly expert but when I booked my trip they weren't that high. Is it a peak time? The dates really make a difference so if you can be a little flexible it may be worth a lot of $$$$ off.

No flexibilty on the dates we already have vacation time put in for those days. I booked a park view which I believe was only one step up from garden view. I partcularly wanted the Tuvalu building with park view.

Is that with any discounts or coupon codes?

Geez, I'm paying considerably less than that price and we're going in October. Is this for Club level or something? Even so, that's quite a difference from where you're staying. We have a 40% discount on our rate as well, so without that, we probably wouldn't be staying at the Poly.
