Once we get everyone's dates we can choose a date to meet! I can PM you guys my cell # and we can meet in the lounge. I love meeting DIS people in person!!!! Looking at my itinerary we should be around the resort several nights, we are at MNSSHP on 10/27, the Luau on 10/29, our first night 10/25 might be good. Even if we all just meet quickly and take a picture it would be cool.

We're doing the party 10/25 but we can meet up quick in the lounge if you do it before or after. DD3 won't last all night so if we meet up late night for a cocktail I'm game! Also we'll probably be around 10/26 and I'll be meeting friends 10/28, which I know is woodkins last day, but we'll be in the lounge at some point that night too, so look for 3 rowdy women at the bar that night!

I'm expecting DD3 to konk out about 8-9 every night, so either before 5 or after 9 I'm game for any night, or some of the other evenings we don't have table service ADRs are good for me. Yay! My first DIS meet!!

Question for anyone who just came back and stayed CL. I know they have cordials in the lounge in the evening, but do they have Rum???

I didn't notice it when we were there. Then again, I was too busy drinking the punch to notice much of anything (It can make you invisible,just like a lapu lapu )

How far in advance did you call and double check? 10 days before vacation?

I called and checked at 12 days out before I did online check in . Online check in is at 10 days out.

No I have not been drinking rum today....yet

Sadly BreezysMom, no rum is offered in the lounge. . .only the standard cordials of old: Amarula, Kahlua, a cognac, and maybe one other (I can't recall because other than the Amarula, I don't have much use for the cordials) wine, beer.

There used to be a whole lot more variety in the good old days. Still miss that Bailey's nightcap. Rum would definitely put a whole new spin on CL.

Starting to stress - 19 days out and havent packed a thing or even started a list! This is sooo not like me but things keep coming up. Planned to get started this weekend but needed to travel out of town this weekend for a funeral and today was first day of school! I do have a 4 day weekend coming but my parents are visiting for part of that which is great and I'm so glad they are coming dont get me wrong but you all know what i mean i think!

I have been the same way this trip. I am almost packed and I leave on the 5th ! I usually have everything packed 2 months before ! I seem to have things to do all the time . When I dont have anything I need to do I just want to relax and do nothing

We're actually in Orlando for 5 days before we head over to Disney ... we arrive at the Poly on Oct 10th and leave the 16th

We are thinking of it ... since we've been to a few MNSSHPs before, we're going to play it by ear and if the mood strikes us (and the weather is nice), we'll just pick up tix when we're there

It is probably a good thing.... I like a nice Rum and Coke Zero after a long day but there will be plenty of other libations around to keep me happy On our last trip DH would make a nightcap of Kahlua and cream. Blech Although a Bailey's nightcap sounds nice.

I still have the option of stowing away a plastic water bottle filled with Barcardi Razz in my suitcase Just in case I am desperate

We checked into the Poly today!!! We were upgraded to TPV. We are in Tuvalu and our view is amazing. I've already had my first dole whip .
