We have a podcast.. We have a website, Facebook page and we have lots of like minded awesome dads that talk about everything. We close threads in about a week, and there isn't a day that goes by without a reference to bacon!

I am soo glad everyone has started posting pics of the poly!

hi carl!!! ya, a few pages ago but it was during a time warp and it ended up a few pages back. all good. great pics and alot of info. we are looking forward to staying at the poly.
the last 2 spring trips we have been at the contemp. with a mk view. very nice but, between chef mickeys and half the elevators not working, we were looking for a change this spring. tammy always wanted to stay at the poly so we are giving it a shot.

Beware. . .once you go deluxe--going back is very difficult.

I have stayed at deluxe, mod, and the values...I am always happy as long as I am on property.

I am a cheese burger in paradise type of guy so the poly is right there where I wanna be! I have to warn you the Poly is so addicting Tammy will be wanting to go back! I always felt hurried when visiting the CR. It feels like a metropolis to me. But BLT looks like heaven to me! I want to stay in the grand villa suite TPV!

I was just posting on another thread that my dad is the complete opposite of a Disney fan and he still raves about his Poly stay. He though switching to the GF was a downgrade! I'm taking my 14 year old cousin in August and he keeps telling her how awesome the Poly is. I think I've got him hooked. (that was the plan all along)

i hope not, what would i do with 400 dvc point per year?
i had to bank points last year because briana wanted to stay at the contemp. for her hs graduation present. we decided on the poly this year and after that, ill have enough points for 2 trips per year. (12 night and an 8 night)in points. we were talking about next may staying at the grand. flor. for a few nights just to say we stayed at all the monorail resorts. we are more of the relaxing, less metropolis people ourselfs. i guess that explains the love for okw.

Now that he is hooked, you can just kinda mention how it would be nice to go back to the Poly. Maybe play some Poly loop in the background!

Since I foot the bill for my parents I just tell them that we're going and the dates they need to be available. I'm taking my mom in August as well. My dad says August is too hot.

i wont be able to make it. i only get 15 vacation days. i use all 15 going to wdw for two trips per year. i do have 5 sick days i could use but i try to save them to take tammy to the dr. in philly. hopefully that will be only 2 times per year after feb. but i guess time will tell.

I love Pop. and you're right, it is all about the vibe. I'm not feeling the vibe there. This thread is such a happy place as well. I've never waggled when I booked the Poly.



There's been trips I couldn't afford more than Pop. I've always jUst been happy with what I can afford. Maybe next year but I'm really doubting it for this trip.

Thank you so much for another beautiful thread!!! Your amazing pictures and information are taking me back to this time last year, when we were getting ready for our first ever trip to the Polynesian. We caught the Poly bug in a big way while we were there, going so far as to add a night because we couldn't bear to leave. My DH, who initially balked at going deluxe (we were moderate people before this), has now said that he would be happy if we never stayed anywhere else!!!

I'll be checking back here often between now and the first of May...we are so excited to be going back to the Poly!!!
