Thanks for the Poly pics! They are much needed!
Not to be a downer, but my fiance and I both got laid off and are out of work:sad1: So the Poly pics remind me of my trip in January when we got engaged.:lovestruc

Can anyone link for tell the the page of the newest Poly pics? Considering staying there in July and I would love to see the rooms and the pool(s)! Thanks!

So many people are heading to the Poly! I hope you are have great weather and a magical time! I can't wait to hear reviews, experiences and of course see pictures :worship:

Look at my ticker :rolleyes1 I am leaving a month earlier than we originally planned. I have been so frustrated with airfare for our November trip. I was playing around with different dates and happened to come across the cheapest flights I have ever booked to Disney but it was a 10/20 arrival date so I jumped on them and then changed our reservation to the new dates! 10/20-27 :woohoo:

BreezysMom, you're killing me here! How many times have you changed your dates? That is hilarious! I hope you have a great trip whenever you go.;)

I am also looking forward to trip reports from those going to the Poly soon. We loved going in May and if it wasn't for school schedules we would go back in May. Such a lovely time of year.

Just reserved a space for my beloved dog, Jolie, at doggie camp for our July trip!! I hate leaving her behind!!! It makes me feel so guilty!

Us too!! Everytime we walk out of our house our pitbull hooowwwls! We feel guilty when we go out to dinner! We have a house/dog sitter. I believe since she is in her house she is not as mad at us when we come home! But she is still mad at us!

I have literally been on my cell phone and computer for a day and a half changing reservations and getting my dining reserved :cool1: I got every request I wanted even though the ADR window opened up over a week ago!

At first I was sad to miss the beginning of holiday stuff but since we are doing the big holiday trip next Christmas I got over it quickly! We love Disney in October :lovestruc I am really excited to experience F&W and not be rushed since our November dates would have only given us two days of F&W before it was over. I also have to miss Rick Springfield :sad1: Oh well! I think Night Ranger will be there instead :lmao:

We have our MNSSHP tickets and I even decided to pay off the balance while I was at it so now I have nothing left to do! :sad2:

Maybe I will have to do a PTR...:rolleyes1

Anyone else going at that time?
:cool1:to cheap(er) flights!

We usually do the same. This year we'll be over the 4th of July, so they're going to the kennel. It's a great place and they take them out and walk them and they can even go on an adventure walk!:lmao:It goes thru the 'woods' and end up in the play yard. I figure they're better off out of town in the kennel than they are here in our neighborhood, which sounds like a war zone over 4th of July.

MVMCP would be my choice. I love the parties even though they are insanely expensive!

At least you can see fire boy;) at the torch lighting ceremony and have a fun dinner at 'Ohana for a fraction of the luau cost. That is our plan for the next trip :thumbsup2

I'm leaning toward MVMCP too...but had not thought about the Torch Lighting Ceremony or 'Ohana. Haven't had dinner at 'Ohana since 2002! And cannot even rememebr the last time we saw the Torches lit. A must do this time!

How exciting that you are going earlier, now October!!! I love October at WDW too - and MNSSHP is even better than MVMCP - except for Santa. what fun to be planning for a trip a bit sooner. Smart move!! :cheer2:

Oh that looks delicious and like fun!
I still have to finish packing.

Booked our flight dance!!! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

About $200 more than if I'd have booked back in February, but we didn't have our traveler list finalized. Oh, well. :upsidedow At least we know we'll have a plane seat!! We'll be there in exactly seven months!!!

Imagine how my travel agent feels

I have to say it has been overwhelming with all the changes but the plane tickets are purchased which means no more changing now. The price of our plane tickets was totally worth making the change. I could not find anything under $300 unless we flew out at 9pm to Disney and leave Disney for home at 7am which I try to avoid those situations. The last thing I want to do is have to leave for the airport at 4 or 5am :sad2: But on a fluke I found great times at half the price so I jumped on it!

In the end it all worked out! We got all our ADRs and get to go a month earlier than planned!

I didn't know you couldn't close the door on the fridges
that explains my problem last trip (akl)

Hi,

Great thread guys :)

We have visited Florida from the UK many times, and are staying at the Polynesian for the first time this August.

Our son is autistic and I am a little concerned about comments about the fridges, the doors you cannot shut etc, can someone explain what that means exactly - not being able to close the door does seem a little strange. ;)

It's the door on the cabinet that holds the fridge that must stay open. The fridge door can stay shut. :)

Enjoy your Poly stay!
