Is this true with all rooms? We last stayed at the Poly in 2007 and had no problem with the fridge cabinet door being shut.

They may have modified the cabinets to allow better air flow from condensor. But to be safe if your fridge is not cold when you get to your room I would most definatley leave the cabinet door holding the fridge open.

Imagine how my travel agent feels

I have to say it has been overwhelming with all the changes but the plane tickets are purchased which means no more changing now. The price of our plane tickets was totally worth making the change. I could not find anything under $300 unless we flew out at 9pm to Disney and leave Disney for home at 7am which I try to avoid those situations. The last thing I want to do is have to leave for the airport at 4 or 5am But on a fluke I found great times at half the price so I jumped on it!

Same thing happened to me when I was looking at airfare. The date we were planning to fly down, either the fares were bad or the flights were at the wrong times...I only had to adjust by 2 days, though, instead of a month. It actually worked out cheaper to even add a day, so now we have 4 nights at AKL instead of 3...It really pays to have flexibility!

You already know how GREAT October is! Those fireworks and parade from MNSSHP, F&W Fest! And you don't have to wait so long! YAY!

We are almost at 90 days its so exciting!! Right now we are booked GV i'm hoping to upgrade to LV once AP rates are out, but if I don't, I really want a balcony and not to face a parking lot. What do you suggest I put as a request? I was thinking "Balcony, near lagoon" or "Balcony, near pool"

I just requested full balcony. From what I have read, there seem to be very few bad views at Poly. We are just leaving it up to the CM who assigns rooms that day...hopefully our luck will be good!

Could you please let me know when you get to your room if you think 2 pak n plays will somehow fit in there? We can fold them up when not in use. I am hoping to get one of the larger rooms.

Great! Thank you so much! We stayed in AKL last year with one pak n play and it was tight. I heard the rooms at Poly are bigger. Enjoy your vacation- I am jealous!

You will enjoy the Poly room size! An AKL room is sure would be tight - AKL rooms are 344 sq ft (about the same as CBR), but no worries at Poly. Polynesian rooms in an older longhouse would be 415 sq ft and a newer Longhouse 476 sq ft (Tokelau, Tahiti, Rapa Nui).

When me, DH, and DS get to the Poly, the first thing we do is sniff the air and say ahhhhh, there it is.

Glad we aren't the only ones
