Hi everyone, posting live from the CL lounge. Arrivedat 11:30 today for our 1st poly stay, room wasn't ready because they realized we were assigned a 2nd floor room but had requested1st or 3rd. They wanted to meet our requst so had us wait, unfortunately the room wasn't ready until 4:30 and it was raining so we spent lots of unplnned time in the CL lounge tired and antsy... I will say though without the lounge it would have been rough. After a small nap and a little refresh were all feeling much better. We ended up with a wonderful 3rd floor GVroom, no issues so far but can see the issues with puddles mentioned outside of the 1st floor rooms. Since we had a late lunch at Captian Cooks CL food was perfect for dinner, tonightit wassome sort of bbq chicken and raspberry brie- delish!
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.![]()
Thx for the reports!

Wow, that is quite a wait you have! But it too, like everything else, will eventually get here! I think by then you may well have the best-planned trip in Disney history!!
Hope they have a quick recovery. Strep throat has been circulating our area. I got it but the kids were shown mercy thank goodness.

! LOL So I am doing a split 4 nights CBR, 3 nights Poly. I figure it's better than no Poly! LOL
So... we're not planning any WDW trips until after that.
he is usually ready by day 8 to go home. This is our first stay at Poly and I think it will be the only resort we stay now.We have an 8 month old(who got his first haircut today at MK!) and a 9 yr old dd and it has really worked out great here for us.Everything has been great-except you need to be one of the seven dwarfs to fit under the shower head!

My boys will be so upset if they don't get to go down a slide! I know the weather will be hit or miss as to whether it would be warm enough to swim or not, but in the event it is warm enough I really wanted to enjoy the pool. I know that there is the "quiet" pool as a back up option, but we were looking forward to the themed pool. Anyways... enough of my rambling, what I am trying to get at is: if the Volcano pool is in fact closed when we are there would we be allowed to use, say, the Grand Floridian's themed pool? I would never do it unless I was directly told by a CM that it was alright. I was just wondering in the past with pool closures was this an option? Thanks so much everyone!!!
