Allen Rickman Alert (yes, snoopy !)

In this weeks (well actually starts Satruday) TV guide..has a write up about a movie on HBO, over Memorial Day weekend.

It has Allen Rickman in it!! The photo (on page 44/45 ) has an article about the movie, and a picture of him in a dress shirt and tie! He looked quite good, by the way.....

This TV guide (well my area) has the Simpsons on the cover, and its the 25 top cult shows of all time. (Local covers may vary!)

So, check your cable listings!

Do you mean the English actor Alan Rickman? I loved him in Truly Madly Deeply but after that he was the bad guy in the original Die Hard and Quigley Down Under so that's how I always think of him. I'm not into the Harry Potter craze so haven't seen him in anything recently.

You should watch Galaxy Quest. Alan Rickman is hilarious in that one. The whole movie is a riot. It stars Tim Allen.

Oooh la la! Love me some Alan Rickman. Someone described him as the thinking woman's hearthrob, I gotta agree with that.

He's a top notch actor and oh-so easy on the eyes. I think I have seen all of his work with the exception of a few offbeat movies that are now out of production and if I had to pick my favorite role it would be his Jamie in Truly Madly Deepy, followed closely by his portrayal of God in Dogma. And he positively broke my heart as the dashing Col. Brandon in Sense and Sensibility. What versitility.

It's that husky drawl combined with the British accent that does it for me! That's what I remembered the most when I saw him in Die Hard. And I loved him too in Sense and Sensibility, Harry Potter and Love Actually!

Isn't that the truth! I love that movie so much, Allan Rickman's character (Brandon) is my favorite, he is so incredibly vulnerable, I felt bad for him throughout the entire movie.
