I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find it - sorry!

We have a 8:05 a.m. reservation at the Crystal Palace and we are staying at the All Star Music Resort. We will be driving our own car from All Star Music to Magic Kingdom - what time do we need to leave All Star Music?

Thank you so much!

I wouldn't leave later than 7 myself. You have to park at the TTC, take the monorail or ferry over to MK, walk into the park, and you're supposed to arrive 10-15 minutes before your reservation.

I just want to add that it is always easiest to take a Disney bus to the MK. The buses drop you off right at the MK entrance. No need for the tram and then boat or monorail to the MK.

Disney provides early morning transportation for the numerous breakfasts throughout WDW.

I agree that it's easier taking the bus to the Magic Kingdom and they start between 6:15 AM - 6:30 AM, so if you are out there that early you will have a lot of time to make your ADR at Crystal Palace.

I agree with others that it is better to ride buses to MK than drive. This is due to the TTC being in the way. No other park has the TTC issue in re parking, so I prefer to drive to other parks, if I have a car with me. But to MK, I always let Disney do the driving.

Another vote for taking the bus to MK. The gates open at 8am for those 8:05 ADR's so if you arrive at the ASMu bus stop at 7am you will arrive in lots of time.

If you opt to drive it will take you about 20-25 minutes to get to the MK parking lot. Then another 20-30 to get from your car over to the gate, but it could take longer depending on how many people are trying to get there. Add another 10-15 to get through the gate, check in with the CM about your ADR and walk to CP.

Leave at 7ish on the bus. For MK, the bus, definitely, even if it means you go back to the resort in the middle of the day, whatever. The car is just too inconvenient for MK. There will be a bunch of dining res around the same time, and you'll be seated roughly in the order you arrive. It's not like a typical restaurant res. If you turn up closer to 8:00, there will be a ton of people ahead of you in line. ;)

If MK has Extra Magic Hours that morning, the whole park will open at 8, and you'll have to contend with a LOT more people going in, even though they mostly won't be headed to Crystal Palace.

If you insist upon driving, I'd leave at least 15-20 min earlier, but I have no idea if you can even park that early.
