I believe these are Tibetan/Buddhist Prayer Wheels. They are often found along trails/paths in the Himalaya mountains and other places in Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet etc.. Tradition is to run your hand along each one as you pass for purification and accumulating merit. I've seen these in mountaineering movies and in books about climbing Everest and other very high mountains.

I've always thought this attraction is from the movie Psycho!

Kathy...got the "mystery" cleared up today. This is the "haunted mansion" or Phantom Manor". The house in Psycho belongs to Universal....they have those "rights".

Book they received when they checked in. (The shopping bag next to was used to bring the extra TOILET PAPER they needed during their stay! )
