The fireworks in this shot aren't at all impressive, but I like the picture because it offers a somewhat wide angle view of the vantage point from the Main Street Train Station.
Great angle and beautiful color rendition! Just curious- was this also taken with the 30mm 1.4, as the light is pretty low (at night?) and you don't appear to be using any flash?
Thanks- yep both with the Sigma 30/1.4. My new Favorite

Joe- Great picture but more to the point I love the crowd level- when was this? Every time I am there for fireworks it is wall to wall people the length of Main Street from the Castle to the Train Station. Looks like the street was wet- maybe the rain chased people away? Anyway- great shot.
°O°Joe - Great capture inside TOT! And outstanding fireworks shot! Like Jeff said above, the reflection off the wet street really adds to it. I was thinking of using the train station for fireworks shots on my next trip, I think you convinced me to give it a shot now. And for the sparse crowd, was it a P&P night? I know when I was there for P&P I stood right in the middle of Main St and it was like I had the street to myself.
I went to a college that had the nickname "The Scots" and our mascot was a scottie dog and we had bagpipers in our marching band.
So I totally get the allure!
