I'm thinkin' between Ft. Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. Near the "shoe tree"!

Yup, that's where it is.

That really is quite cool feature...it says "water park" is that the one that is now gone? Guessing that they still have some stuff up, eh? That's really cool!

Yeah, they haven't torn anything down, the entire park is still there.

wdwensel.. cool pic of the overgrown dock, and the geotagging is great too.. more work than I want to do but great When do we get built in GPS in our camera?

Getting built in GPS on our cameras would be cool! I'm sure once it happens it will be on a camera two price levels above what I can afford.

Groucho - Wow, the fact the fireworks are overblown and washed out makes this a really cool shot! Love it!

Dcanoli- Nice Illuminations shot! Taking pictures is a lot like playing golf. You have a bunch of poor-to-ok shots that make ya think maybe this isn't for you, and then you get a great shot and just like that you're totally in love with it again. Can't wait to see your next illuminations shots!

good morning everybody. I just have to say, i am a wee bit jealous of all the beautiful pictures i see on here of the tigers. They simply take my breath away, but when i am actually there viewing them in person, the tigers are so amazing that i almost forget to breathe, never mind focus! here is the best one i was able to take this past visit.

My last shot that I posted was of that over-grown dock by the old River Country water park that I took as we headed over to the Wilderness Campgrounds. This shot was taken in our walk from the campgrounds to the Wilderness Lodge. It was a beautiful, peaceful stroll.

wdwensel - the whole thing is still there?!?! Is that all the closer you can get to it, or can you get closer? That would be a cool outting.

So jealous of the awesome Tiger pics...everytime we go they are asleep or cleaning themselves. Do they post feeding times? I think I would plan my trip to the tigers around then from now on.
