Sherry...are you not really happy...?? LOL...I just read in SOW this morning that Ryan was mad because this "rumor" got out that he was leaving the show...but when SOW tried to get a hold of him or his agent, they both said "no comment"...Now, if you are not leaving, then why would you not comment on it?? LOL...anyway, I hope he doesn't leave...that would stink!!

I am also glad that they are getting a younger Rosa, she would make a good Anita maybe, she at least is older....just not a teenager. There was talk of replacing JR too, I sure hope not, I like the kid they have now, he is a good actor.

Hi there AMC fans! Didn't anyone else catch the episode this week when the baptism party arrives at SOS and Edmund says "My daughter, Maddy wants to babysit". (I saw it again on Soapnet last night!) The my daughter part sounded so weird, it just annoyed me!

I feel a little better about Chris Stamp today. I'm not really sure why. Maybe it was seeing Hysterical Mateo with Edmund today. It was kind of like looking at myself in the mirror after Friday's show. My original instinct was that Chris is Ryan's father but not the man who beat him as a child. I'm back to that mindset today. I don't think he's Proteus either. I think that was just a little diversion tactic used on Friday.

I'm so glad they're going to recast Rosa. I tried to do a little research a while back on the actress, Alana De la Garza, on the Internet Movie Database and it didn't even show her year of birth. I couldn't find it anywhere. I think AMC did everything they could to hide her actual age. She's way too old to be playing a 16 or 17 year old.

Is it just me or does Frankie look like a young Bonnie Bedelia?

Well today's show was not all that I thought it would be. The good stuff must all be happening on Friday.

I still do not know what to think of Chris Stamp. I stil have not figured out if he will be a good/bad guy. Very intriguing!

If Chris does turn out to be Ryan's dad, I hope he is the long lost dad and that the dad that beat him was another man all together. Or if it is his father than Chris was probably beat by his own dad and called Buddy also, hence hiim not liking the name Buddy. Hmmmm.

I am pretty convinced that Stamp is a good guy. He was being confronted by Ryan in his hotel room yesterday, when Mateo got his phone call.

Does anyone know who that Frankie girl is? She looks just like someone I've seen in something before, and I can't place her. It was driving me nuts yesterday.

I did not know they were recasting Rosa. Where did you hear that? I do think she looks too old, but I am so used to her now, she doesn't bother me.

Erika - I don't know who the actress is who is playing Frankie. But I posted yesterday that I think she looks alot like Bonnie Bedelia (wife of Bruce Willis in the Die Hard movies). Maybe that's why she looks familiar to you.

The Rosa recast news is published on abc.com and SoapCentral.com. It actually sounds like they're not sure if they're going to recast or not but Alana De la Garza is out.

Yeah, I think Chris is a good guy too. I had a momentary lapse in judgement late last week but I've gone back to thinking he's one of the good guys. For one thing Jack Scalia has signed a 3 year contract which doesn't necessarily mean anything but there would be no redeeming a child-beating druglord. I certainly hope there wouldn't be anyway! I've liked Chris from the beginning and have been looking forward to his affair with Erica. I think they have great chemistry.

I don't want to give away too much for those who haven't seen it yet but I just have to say that I loved the end of today's show! It was good to see Tad doing the physical humor like in the old days. I thought he pulled it off really well. Tomorrow should be really good!

Yeah, I know I'm just missing SSW but this trip was booked long before I knew anything about it. I chose to arrive on the 4th because it's the first day of value season. I got my room for $49 a night with an AP discount! Woohoo!

Hi! I definitely got all choked up watching Gillian say goodbye to Ryan. Even though the ghost thing was getting kind of silly, I will miss seeing Esta Terblanche on the show. I really hope that they don't put Ryan with anyone - Liza or Mia or anyone else - too soon. I hope that they just concentrate on the relationship between him and Chris, for awhile (whatever that relationship is!) I'm also beginning to think that Chris is not the "bad guy" - I hope not! The writers are doing a good job with this one, 'cause we really have no idea who he will wind up being - and who Proteus really is! I also think that the actress who plays Frankie looks really familiar - I don't know where I've seen her before! She does look like Bonnie Bedelia, too. And I enjoyed the last scene with Tad, too! I hope that he and Jesse get to have an actual conversation at some point, today! I felt sad when David was saying all those mean things about Joe - "he's probably taking a nap", "he's too old", etc. I was starting to really like David, but after hearing him say those things about Joe, I was pretty disgusted. In the mean time.....Laura is a total psycho. Notice how she's acting all weird the second that Brooke leaves for an overseas assignment?! I'm glad that they are recasting Rosa, if they intend to keep the character on the show and have her be a teenager, but it's too bad that they can't recast the Alana De La Garza as another character - she was doing a good job - she just looks too mature to play a high schooler! They probably hired her because she looks so much like the actresses who previously played Santos sisters. Maybe they can have her come back as Anita, next year or something! Although I liked the actress who originally played Anita. It looks like we are going to get to see Leo acting like his "old self", today - that will be a nice change! His facial expression when he was lying in bed and Laura proposed having the big wedding for the first time was priceless!

I LOVED every scene with Tad and Jesse today! (Well, except that very last one when Ditsie popped in. ) If this is why they're keeping Jesse around for awhile longer, I highly approve!

After hearing Leo singing today I feel compelled to advise him not to quit his day job. LOL! I hope that was a put-on!

Why was Greenlee so friendly with Jake when he came to her office? The last time she saw him he was having security escort her out of the hospital. I would think she would still be a little ticked about that!

IASW Rider - I am expecting a Laura rant from you after you see today's show. What is up with that girl? She's throwing around the fact that her mother owns the magazine when it wasn't that long ago that she wouldn't work at Tempo as a photographer because her mother owned the magazine.

I agree that Ryan shouldn't be thrown into another relationship too soon. But I hope they don't let him wither on the vine like they did Edmund after Maria died.

I have not seen today's show yet, but yesterday's show was excellent. I cried like a baby as Gillian admitted to Jesse that she had to go...and then her saying goodbye to Ryan...man that was so powerful! The scene with Tad and Jesse was great and I can't wait to see how this plays out. I think Chris is Ryan's father though not the one that slapped him around. And I think Proteus is Greenlee's dad.

The thought did cross my mind that Roger might be Proteus but I don't think he is. For one thing if he was this big druglord wouldn't he have some money of his own instead of mooching off his daughter's trust fund all these years? And now he can only afford to pay her back in installments. I also don't think the head honcho of a big drug ring would be so hands-on at Enchantment (and getting caught to boot). Don't druglords have goons for that kind of work? Roger seems to fit the goon role better than the drugloard role. But then these are logical reasons why he can't be Proteus. Logic has never stopped AMC writers before so who knows?! I agree with IASW Rider that this is a well written story so far to keep us all guessing this long!
