DH wants to surprise kiddos- question though!

My two sons (17 and 24) and I usually go to WDW over summer and my DH cant come with because he is stuck at work. This year he can meet us there in Orlando/WDW, but DH and I would like to surprise our kids with him just showing up at the park or a resort. We have gone plenty enough to know this answer, but I am hoping I am wrong that it cant be done because if anyone knows better- it’s you disboarders!!
My question- is there any way to buy my DH’s park tickets, book rides for him but not have them seen in the MDE? We plan to meet up the first day if it helps to know. Our two sons check their apps even when NOT at WDW just looking at wait times and such. Any ideas on how to pull this off without our sons finding out, but still book LL and rides? the only way that might work would be for him to make a separate account, link the two accounts as friends and family while booking LL, then unlinking before sons see. I am not sure that is possible or if it will mess up the LL.

He could create a separate account for himself to buy the tickets, and purchase the premier pass (that gives one time LL access for each ride, to be used at any time). That way he can join you for whatever ride you have booked. No need to coordinate LL purchases for you plus a separate account (him).
