Okay, I'm so sick of a lot of these story lines!
This Roger/Simone thing--what's up with that. Obviously Roger has some kind of secret aganda and he's using Simone for it, but still! And Roger getting the money that Mia gave Trey--hmmmmmm
I really can't stand Ryan with Kendall--what ever happened to Dell?
I think the writing could use a lot of help lately. The whole Jamie/Brooke/Edmond/Tad deal is just plain stupid! Come on now--and that kid playing Jamie--the other day when he was supposed to be crying--that was SOOOOOOO fake. Gee whiz!

Okay, vent over. I want my old show back.

Okay, here's my latest Roger/Simone theory:

IF Roger is the real Proteus (which is difficult to grasp considering all the mooching he's done off his daughter as recently as last week when he used her credit card to buy Simone flowers but then I had a difficult time wrapping my brain around Vanessa being Proteus too - I think the writers are making this stuff up as they go along) maybe Simone is using Roger to make amends for screwing up the original Proteus investigation so badly. At the very least this theory will help me get through the Roger/Simone scenes. It's much better than thinking Simone is hot for Roger. ICK!

Hey Everyone!

Great to see you back, Aprille! I also think that Frankie Hubbard is going to wind up being the new resident and the father of Mia's baby. Though it would have been ironic if Adam wound up being the father! You also beat me to mentioning Kendall's ugly shirt and Roger's blinding shirt! They really need to get both of them new wardrobes! I also think that Mia's hair looks great, now. I also speculated that maybe Roger is the real Proteus. But then why does he never seem to have any money, as you said, Aprille?? Who knows who the real Proteus is??? At this point.......who cares, already??!! I was surprised to see that guy bring Mia's / Liza's / Trey's money to Roger, though. So does that mean that Trey is working for Roger?? I am so confused!

Anyway, you know what I was thinking? If Ryan and Kendall ever break up, maybe Kendall and Trey should get together and wreak havoc on PV!

I also liked Chris's line about "Uncle Jack" still being there, but my vote for the funniest line of yesterday's show was when Greenlee asked Simone "So, are you having fun with Daddy?"

It's funny that Chris and Erica went off to make themselves and Bianca a snack......if I recall correctly, they were just about to sit down to breakfast when Kendall showed up, the first time......I guess they never got to eat breakfast! Meanwhile, JR and Jamie are probably still eating breakfast from the other day, in Tad's kitchen (as Opal said "......the boys will be eating pancakes well into the afternoon....."!)

I hope that Leo and Greenlee and Ryan and Kendall aren't REALLY going to leave Pine Valley! After they showed Greenlee telling Leo that she wants them to "get out of this town" and go to Paris, then they showed Ryan asking Kendall to "run away with him", the next scene was Mia and Jake, and I was sure that he was going to say to her "let's take that sailboat trip - for real, this time!"

They have so many characters on the show, it seems, now. And they're bringing back Maria, Arlene, and possibly Frankie Hubbard and Greenlee's mother and Gloria??? There are going to be too many characters per storyline! Maybe they will have to get rid of some characters who are serving no purpose - like Maggie. Not that I want them to get rid of her, but I just can't imagine them having storylines for all of these characters!

It's funny that Chris and Erica went off to make themselves and Bianca a snack......

Did anyone else notice that when Erica was calling up the stairs to Bianca and Chris came walking down the hall, that he wasn't using his crutch? Didn't even seem to have much of a limp! Must be the water in Pine Valley has healing qualities! Or maybe it was just Erica's TLC!

ACK! I can’t believe the way they left us hanging today! So is she dead or not?! The impression from the previews was that perhaps she lost the baby since Tad said something about having to be there for Ditsie now. But then it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve been misled in the previews.

All the talk today of Saint Ditsie had me reaching for the barf bag. Yeah, yeah - she’s the epitome of woman-and-motherhood. No woman has ever made such sacrifices. She has no equal. Blah, blah, blah. Gag me! Gawd I hope she’s dead but I’m not looking forward to the whole town mourning her. UGH!

Tad is in a manic state, I tell ya! That whole opening scene with him and JR was plain weird. (Yes - JR returns!!) The way he told JR about his mom and the pregnancy was so bizarre. He was just blurting out pieces of information and expecting JR to know what the heck he was talking about. That kind of sensitive information should have been handled with a little more diplomacy. (See my favorite funny line of the day below!)

I almost fell over when Brooke said that Phoebe was away on a dig with Langley. Can’t you just see her out on the dig site in her wheelchair?! LOL!

Enjoyed the Liza/Adam scenes today. It was funny when she told Jake and Mia that she and Adam know how to fight because they’ve had plenty of practice.

Funny lines of the day (there were so many I couldn’t narrow it down to one!)...

Greenlee to Simone: "Yeah, if we looked to our parents’ marriages for inspiration the wedding business would have gone the way of 8-track tapes."

Greenlee: "What if the groomsmen’s boutonnieres clash with my bouquet?"
Leo: "Oh, I don’t know, Greenlee. The earth would sink into a black hole?"

Adam to Mia when he realizes that Jake is her date for the evening: "Oh, Mia! You can do a lot better."

And my favorite of the lot...

Brooke as there is a knock on the door just after Tad left: "What could he have forgotten?"
Edmund: "The key to his diplomacy?"

bahahaha!!

Hmmm. I would think this means Nov 9-10 since Nov 10-11 are Sun & Mon. Still unconfirmed but it's the same weekend we've seen mentioned before and this is the first time I've seen it in print anywhere.

Tad listens in disbelief as Brooke tells him that Dixie and his unborn child have been killed in a car accident.

Tad and Brooke head to Zurich to ID Dixie’s body, but when they arrive they find that her body has not been recovered. (CRAP!!! So she is just "presumed dead" which, of course, means she can easily return in the future. GRRR!)

Tad finds a sonogram of the baby and finds that Dixie had already named her Kate, after his grandmother.

Belated Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!

Hope that you all had a great weekend!

You know, I'm very honored, Aprille.......because apparently, I am thinking the exact same things as you are, now! DF was away at his mother's house, this weekend, and didn't get a chance to watch Friday's "AMC" with me before he left. So as I was recounting the events of the episode to him, I coincidentally told him the exact same funniest lines of the day as you mentioned, asked him how Phoebe could be on a dig with Langley in her wheel chair, and recounted Tad's weird (and somewhat inappropriate) conversations with JR and Jamie about Ditsie's return to him, as well! Very funny! And thanks again for the links!

I was strong, again, and didn't read the spoilers that Christine posted.....but I couldn't help but look at the one about Ditsie that Aprille posted. Oh boy. I'm sure that Edmund is going to be thrilled that Brooke is going with Tad to try to find Ditsie! Edmund tells Jamie "your mom had to go out for awhile...." and Jamie smashes the vase with the roses on the floor. Soon, Jamie will find out that "going out for awhile" will mean WEEKS! But he'll be happy about that, though, and spend those weeks lurking on the stairs with that weird smile on his face. A million dollars says that the Maria lookalike shows up while Brooke and Tad are gone. In the mean time, hasn't Ditsie been in enough car accidents to survive this one? Wasn't she just in one, when someone (did we ever find out who?) fixed the breaks on her car? What was the purpose of even having Ditsie contact Tad and say that she is coming back? To give them an excuse to have Tad and Brooke go away together and get closer, while Edmund runs into Maria in PV? I just don't get it - they could have just left Ditsie alone in Switzerland and not mentioned her, thus leaving it open for her to come back (with baby) at any time. Oh well- I guess we'll have to wait and see how it plays out. But aren't Brooke and Edmund supposed to get married in May? I wonder if that will wind up happening at all!

I thought that Mia and Jake were very cute, on Friday! And I thought it was cute when Adam offered to tuck Liza in and read her the financial reports as a bedtime story!

ARRRGGGHHH!! My local ABC affiliate pre-empted the first 10 minutes of today's show for a local breaking story.

I missed Brooke telling Tad about Ditsie. Can someone please tell me what Brooke said and Tad's initial reaction?

(Yes, I have called the TV station and lodged my complaint. The lady who answered the phone said she's been getting alot of calls. DUH!!! No decision has been made yet but hopefully they will rebroadcast the show later tonight.)

Oh, Lisa - that's also funny that you could resist the scoops Christine posted but you couldn't resist those Ditsie scoops! I couldn't believe the SoapCentral scoops were so skimpy this week. The couple of weeks I've been reading both SC and PVB scoops they've been pretty much the same.

Okay, I think I've calmed down enough to comment on today's show.

First of all, NO WAY do I believe that Brooke would go off to Switzerland with Tad leaving Jamie when he is having such a difficult time emotionally. Must be that class she took in Ditsie's Guide to Mothering. Rule #1: Whenever your child is having an emotional crisis, jump on a plane and fly halfway around the world leaving said child in the dust.

How did Liza find out about Ditsie? Liza and Mia interrupted Adam and JR just as Adam was about to tell JR about his mother. Next thing I know Mia and Liza are excusing themselves so Adam and JR can speak alone and then Liza is on the phone to Opal to say she had heard about Ditsie and was sorry. Did I miss something?

I cracked up when Greenlee called Leo "Dr Phil" when he was trying to get her to call her mother.

JR: "Mother would never walk away from me." (Must be a short-term memory problem. )
Adam: "Your mother always put you first."

I wasn't too impressed with JR's reaction to his mother's death until he and Adam hugged. It was a very sweet moment.

Believe it or not I enjoyed the Tad/Ditsie flashbacks. I actually liked Ditsie back then.
