I was so sorry to hear about Ruth also. I didn't realize she was in Song of the South. One of these days I'm going to have to get myself a copy of that movie!

Someone please catch me up - I've just recently started watching AMC regularly again (yeah TIVO) and something was mentioned today (yesterday for most of you) that I was fuzzy on. Who was Juan Pablo? I seem to remember he had a brother & that the brother was in the hospital. Did this have something to do with Edmund's injury? I was only watching sporadically during that timeframe & I don't know the story.

Ohhhh just saw today's episode. You know it's funny watching someone be nasty but I really don't like where they are going with JR. Not fun.

I frankly don't feel the inaugeration(sp?) should interrupt AMC. Now you know what I think is more important.

As far as Song of the South...good luck. I do have a copy I bought on EBay a few years back...it is copied and grainy, but at least we could see it. Disney said it will never be released in the US, though it is for sale in Europe. So dumb.

I'm going a little fuzzy, too but you are on the right track. Juan Pablo was the brother of Carolos who came to town as the custodian at Fusion but turned out to be hiding from the Argentine mob because he had protected a damsel in distress. Juan Pablo and Greenlee were madly in love and there was a lot of drama that ended with everyone being at a cabin in snowstorm being ambushed by this mob. Maria came to warn them but ended up kind of messing things up and it was during a shoot-out that Edmund saved Maria and ended up being shot himself.

Tad did mention Juan Pabloe on today's episode as the one helping Babe and Jamie get to Argentina.

S&K's Mom - last we heard, Scott moved to NYC to pursue a career in television production (I think). He used to work at WRCW, back in the days when he was obsessed with Becca Tyree and tried to make it look like Leo posted a raunchy web site featuring her pictures on the internet, as "revenge" for not sleeping with him. He sort of "faded into the sunset" after he admitted that he was so jealous of her dating Leo that he did that. Before that, Greenlee (his old college buddy from UCLA) was obsessed with him, but he was trying to date Becca, and before that he dated Laura English (the red haired actress, not psycho Laura!).

So glad that Babe and Jamie finally admitted their feelings to one another! I guess that that proposal scene is the one during which Justin actually proposed to Alexa, during rehearsal!

This whole thing with Maggie and Jonathan is getting more and more disturbing. As is the situation with JR. But they're sure keeping things interesting!

I find it kind of ironic that Tad set it up with Juan Pablo for Jamie and Babe to seek refuge with him.........how "safe" is HE? When last we saw him, he brought that big shoot-out to town, that ultimately wound up leaving Ed-dumb paralyzed. So I guess now that Carlos is gone, everything is totally peaceful in Juan Pablo's world??? I doubt it!

Also, when Tad first showed up at Liza's room, didn't he say that there were PI's everywhere, swarming the area and following him? Then why did he sit out in the open on a park bench with Liza? And ask her to stay longer, no less? I would think that those PI's would have spotted them, right away!

Luckily, for me, I didn't get to see the show yesterday so I DVR'd it. I'll watch that at the normal time today.

I know this sounds horrible but I have no interest in seeing the President get inaugurated. I'll catch it on the news later tonight!

We watch AMC at work so we decided to go out for lunch today (unless its too cold). I really don't see the need for the networks to cover the inauguration festivities all day long. The actual swearing in and speech OK but everything else is the same thing over and over.

Give us our AMC!!!

Did anyone see a new episode yesterday? I checked SoapNet last night & it was Wednesday's episode again. If they have to cover every cough & sneeze from the inauguration, I don't mind as much if they just keep the episodes until the next day.

SoapNet didn't air a new epsiode Thursday either. In primetime they showed Beverly Hills 90210 or Dallas or some one of those old primetime soaps -- I didn't watch.

ABC SPOILERS -- SOME FOR OLTL:























This is the week to watch when JR finally gets the first look at his son. When JR reaches for the boy, Jamie is ready to fight for Babe's child. Just when it looks like JR might get the upper hand, the Buchanans step in to shut JR down. But Babe and Jamie face a battle of their own when they are arrested for kidnapping the baby. And David puts the last nail in Jamie's coffin when he accuses him of murder. Greenlee makes another attempt to convince Ryan that his brother Jonathon is responsible for her poisoning. Meanwhile Lily may be put in harm's way when she tries to play detective for Aidan and confronts Jonathon with some disturbing questions.

The baby story continues as the Buchanans challenge the Chandlers for baby Ace/James. When Kevin takes the baby from Babe, Kelly is torn between her love for Ace and doing right by Babe.

Greetings from Blizzard-covered New Jersey! It's only about 5 hours into the storm and it's really getting wild, out there! They're predicting that we will have 15 - 20 inches of snow by the time this ends, tomorrow - we'll see!

So glad that Greenlee and Kendall are sort of "friends" again - I love when Greenlee told Kendall that her bony hip (I think) was sticking into her side, when they were sitting next to each other and Jonathan's computer! They are so funny together! But I'd rather see them team up with one another than be on opposing sides. And I'm so glad that Kendall didn't go along with Greenlee's suggestion that she try to seduce information out of Jonathan. Fortunately, she's learned not to jeopardize a good relationship by doing that, as she did with Ryan and Aidan a few years ago.

They sure left us on a suspenseful note for the weekend, at the end of yesterday's episode! There is no way that Babe and Jamie won't get caught, now, but I wonder if Liza and Colby will be able to get away? And where the heck did Bobby go? At least they're giving him a somewhat good storyline as his exit "excuse". I wish that they would prove that it was Jonathan and not Zach, who's responsible for all the "bad stuff" - Zach gets a bad rap wherever he goes! And I can't wait to see the confrontation between Jonathan and Greenlee, now that he caught her and Kendall trying to find proof that he is the one who poisoned her.

With the way that Zach and Erica were sparring, over the past 2 days........it seemed very reminiscent of the way that her relationship was with David (lots of tension and passion)........just before they got together.........you don't think that they would do that, do you? Put Erica with Zach to spite Maria? I hope not! I want to see Erica and Jack finally married, once and for all!

By the way, if anyone happened to watch the ABC inaugural coverage - did anyone else notice that every time they cut to commercial, they played portions of the IllumiNations Reflections of Earth soundtrack?

We had our semi-blizzard yesterday, here in Minnesota. We only got 6-7 inches and strong winds though. But it was our first real snowfall of the year, been an odd winter here.

I'm so glad to see Liza back, I hope she gets away, but sticks around.

I so totally hate JR, he and Jonny boy would be good buddies!!! Why does JR always have to squint????
