So glad to hear that you and Faith had such a great time at WDW! Loved the gummy bear story, too! And would love to see some pictures, if either of you have any posted, anywhere!

"AMC" has been much improved, over the past few days! We really enjoyed yesterday's episode - it seemed like lots of progress was being made with each of the storylines, and the pacing was very good, too!

Glad to see that Dixie has a new hair style - this one is much better than the one that she had when we saw her in December! I also like her gown - it's the nicest one at the Ball - so many of the others are tacky and weird! (I also broke down and bought this weeks' "Soap Opera Digest" which has a cover story about Dixie's return, the Mardi Gras Ball, the revelation that Josh is Erica's son, etc.) And I like the way that they are "reintroducing her", too - allowing the viewers to see the other characters "through Dixie's eyes" - seeing how much they've changed or what predicaments they are in, without their knowing that she's there. I have a feeling that they wil drag it out and that Tad will be the last person to see Dixie............sort of like they dragged out Maria's return, and Ed-dumb didn't see her for awhile, either.

Loved the scenes with Lily, Jack, Jonathan, Ryan, etc. And so glad to see Reggie and Danielle hanging out together, again - now they just need to give them a good storyline! Same with Anita - nice to see her at the Ball, but they need to give her something to do!

Loved Greg's "busting" of Josh with that incriminating audio tape, and Erica's apology to Amanda - that was a great scene, too! And I also loved Kendall's going off on Ryan for ruining her happiness. I called him "self-riteous" to my husband, 2 seconds before SHE called him a self-riteous jerk, herself! He needs to mind his own business - he has no business meddling into Kendall's - or anyone else's - life, especially after he "played dead" for months!

It will be weird to see someone else playing Lily, for a few days. At first I was thinking that maybe something WAS going to "happen" between her and Jonathan, and they needed to temporarily bring in an older actress to play those scenes, since Leven is only 15..........but according to "Soap Opera Digest", she really WAS sick and "out of commission" for a week, in January, when they were taping the Ball!

At the end of yesterday's episode, before the "coming attractions", the trailer said "Next week, on 'All My Children' "..........I hope that that was a mistake! There IS an episode today, isn't there???? I guess I will find out, in 15 minutes!

Hope I am home from work by than. And awake! By the way, my DS Patrick is coming home today, from Afhanistan, DH and I will be picking him up in an hour!

Well..it's official. Josh the walking, talking, embryo...some 30 years later..only of course in soap land Josh isn't 30. Gross. So we have the "clinic" where little swimmers are stolen...and black outs occur..and implantation of one womans terminated embryo into another woman...without her knowledge or consent. Not to mention it was over 30 years ago..and abortion was barely legal..let alone the knowledge to be able to do something like this. To top it off Josh isn't some 30 plus years...so the entire timing of the disgusting storyline is off also. The blowing up of the ball will be a relief at this point.

I agree with you auntie regarding the whole Josh story. That is sooooo stupid!!! I'm tooo through with All My Children. They can't think of anything else, but that dumb story. So no more "Kane" women. I though the baby switching story was far fetched now this long lost son ?

That's happened several times in recent weeks with ABC soaps. I had the flu & a couple times I thought I'd just forgotten what day it was. And each time I noticed it, the following day the show was on.

As for who gets blown up...can I vote that it will be Jackson? Or at least give him a head injury so he won't be so obnoxious for a while? He's been making me nuts recently.

And I know that IRL time frames Jonathan & Lily shouldn't be "together" but I have to say that their characters together are just so cute! I figured they were just going to age Lily...it isn't like it hasn't been done before. LOL

Weren't Danielle, Reggie and Lily in high school together with the "hot girls"? Danielle might have been a year or two older, but now that she's at Fusion all the time, she seems to be done with high school. And Reggie and his new haircut (blech! I still like his old look better!), he seems to be aging as well. It would only make sense to age Lily a bit to keep up with the two of them.

And Jack is bugging the heck out of me as well. Can you say "over-protective father?" :

Reggie, Danielle and Lily were all in hs just a few months ago but then again Jamie was just a college frosh and now he's almost a doctor. lol

Jack was a little overprotective BUT if my dd, special needs or not, was hanging out with Jonathon, a guy who is way too old for her and killed people...I think I'd go a little nutso too.

The Josh embryo thing is just way too out there for me.

In the previews when they show Tad asking if anyone is alive, I almost hope that no one is, but Dixie. lol

Just watched part of Friday's show & happened to drr when Tad tell's Erica that Josh is hers & Jeff Martin's son. DH asked me what was going on & I said, "It's so tacky & classless that you don't even want to know".

I explained it to him & he was surprised also. I don't think I've ever been so disturbed by a storyline. It's really in poor taste if you ask me.

Pembo you made a good point, I think it's the age difference that kinda bugs me but I have to admit they have good chemistry. I just can't get over that Josh is gonna be Erica and Jeff Martin's child. Wait till I try to explain this to DH.
