I know a lot of characters "disappear" or age dramatically but.....whatever happened to Mrs. Santos? She was constantly in Maria and Edmund's business. Then she morphed into a different person around the time Maria's sister came back. Now, she's just dropped off the face of the earth. Maybe she went into shock when Maddie went from 7 to 15 overnight?

Brermom, You're right but I can't remember what her name was. I think she and Bianca met when Bainca was getting help for her eating disorder.

Count me among the group who will not be sorry to see Edmund go. I am so tired of him. I sure don't like the person Ethan is becoming. I just don't want Kendall hurt again.

I'm already a bit confused about what's happening out there. Zach was out there. Now, did he tell Ethan about having the evidence against Edmund (I guess so but I don't remember). They started fighting and Ethan knocked Zach out but I think he checked to be sure he was breathing. Somehow Lily ended up in there and she has found Zach lying there. The preview shows Edmund going out to the barn and finding a heater laying on a bale of hay. He picks the heater up but then someone bashes him in the head......my guess is that Jonathan is also in the barn.

Just found out that Anita is pregnant in real life. She is due in June. This is her 1st child.

Monday
Edmund is knocked unconscious as a fire breaks out in the barn at Wildwind; Jonathan loses his temper when Reggie and Danielle tell him that Maggie is gone.

Tuesday
Maria and David fail in their attempt to rescue Edmund and must come to terms with his death; Lily wakes after being sedated but retreats into her own world of numbers, unable to relay what she saw in the barn.

Wednesday
Zach refuses to defend himself against allegations that he killed Edmund; while in therapy, Jonathan refers to Greenlee by his mother's name and reveals his anger toward his mother.

Thursday
Ethan tells Ryan that he saw Zach kill Edmund; Kendall and Greenlee ask David for help; Brooke is unable to decide if she should tell Maria the truth about Edmund.

Friday
Greenlee and Kendall prepare a way to elicit the truth from Jonathan; Zach has an ominous warning for Erica; Ethan tells Aiden that he saw Zach kill Edmund.

*** Coming soon, next week and for the rest of spring: The murder mystery of who did Edmund in kicks into high gear with Zach the only suspect; Lily knows better, and Erica knows that Lily knows something about the murder; Ryan’s just glad this could possibly take the heat off Jonathan regarding Greenlee’s poisoning; Ryan will soon come to eye Jonathan more as not being on the level about a lot; Ryan demands Jonathan explain himself about this so-called confession; what Ryan finds will trouble him deeply, like…Jonathan really did try to destroy Ryan and Greenlee after all; in the process, Ryan and Greenlee’s marriage faces peril. **Braeden Lavery returns to Pine Valley or has he been there longer then anyone is aware of? Ryan and Jack are faced with the difficult task of having to deal with Braeden's presence in their lives again.

Okay -- for those of us with gaps in our AMC history....I thinkwe need to be filled in on Braeden. I guess he's Ryan's brother and he's a "bad guy". Can someone give a recap of what he did and where he went? Thanks!

Braeden is Ryan's brother. He raped Jack's sister Kit. He left town several years ago. I don't remember if he went to trial or what. Anyone else?

I don't like these new storylines. Who cares about the brothers Lavery?

And, ho hum, another murder mystery. Did we ever find out who killed Paul Kramer?

No trial, knocked Ryan down after he rescued Dixie, and took off. No one has seen him since. Jack did say a couple of weeks ago that he has been trying to hunt him down ever since.

If Braden is going to come back, I hope that he is at least played by the same actor who played him originally (the "Chicken of the Sea Guy"! ) - he was cute!

I don't care who killed Ed-dumb - it will just be good not to have to look at his smug face or listen to the cruel, conniving things that he says about Maria behind her back, or watch him be rude to everyone in sight, any more. Good riddance - they really ruined a once good and sympathetic character.

I hope that Lily witnessed whomever tried to kill Ed-dumb, though - at least we won't have to go through months of another "who killed so and so" plot, again! Hopefully they'll tie everything up soon, by telling us that the same person shot Ryan, poisoned Greenlee, killed Paul Kramer, and killed Ed-dumb, so that we can move on to some new storylines and get rid of these old "whodunnits"!

And it is weird that Mama Santos hasn't been around to meddle in Maria's and Ed-dumb's (not to mention Anita's and Bobby's / Aidan's) affairs lately. Maybe she has been baby sitting Maddie at the Mysterious Medical Conference to which all PV'ers eventually disappear, all these months!

I think that Bianca's first love was named Sarah also, Erika. And I'd forgotten about that hippie chick (I thought that her name was "Rain" or "Rainbow" or something! I just remember Erica telling Bianca in no uncertain terms that she was NOT an appropriate "friend" for Bianca to have!). And then of course before Frankie, Bianca had a crush on Laura English-DuPres. And then Maggie, then Lena, then Maggie!

So glad that Ryan came back to be with Greenlee - I was so mad at him when he left her alone in the hotel, like that.

I wonder if they will start making Ethan "bad", so that Kendall is tempted to take JR up on his flirtatious "offer"???? Even though I really like Kendall with Ethan (well, the "nice Ethan", anyway - not the "EVIL, CAMBIAS-ETHAN", whom they're apparently trying to "create"), I always thought that she and JR (specifically THIS JR - not any of the JR's of the past) might be an interesting couple, since they both have such passion and such sneaky, devious tendencies. Now that Bianca is gone, there will be no one to inspire Kendall to be "good".........so she might revert to some of her vengeful, sneaky ways.........which actually might be fun to see! Maybe she and JR will team up against Babe and Jamie.........

I have age issues with Kendall and JR. I know they skew the ages of kids in PV, but Kendalls really bugs me. Erica had her when she was 14, and Susan Lucci is 57, so Kendall should be 43 LOL. JR should be about 15 or so LOL. Drive me nuts!!!!!!!!

Were there really 1022 checks on Jackson's shirt and 126 ceiling tiles? That was a bit weird. I know Lily is going to go into herself but that was just odd.

Loved seeing Adam and Palmer ganging up on David and then Babe. I don't feel sorry for her anymore. She created this whole mess, she deserves to lose her son, not necessarily to the evil JR however.

Bye-Bye Ed-dumb! I'm sad to say that I was not sad to see him go (and didn't you just KNOW that David was going to have to "get in on the action", somehow??!! Every time he is about to be fired or have his medical license taken away, some emergency that requires his particular skill "just happens to occur", and then he is forgiven and absolved!). I was more worried about the horses than I was about him! He has been so cruel and cold to both Maria and Brooke, over the past several months to a year, and there they both were, worried about him and pulling for him - and had he been aware of that, he would have only been thinking of revenge and not appreciating the people who care about him. So once again I say: GOOD RIDDANCE!

So glad that Lily allowed Aidan to rescue her. And so glad that Ethan "gave in" and saved Zach's life.

I loved Reggie's confronting Jonathan at Maggie's apartment, and I loved how Dani defended herself to him, too! And why was Ryan so obviously shocked an surprised that Jonathan could be so cruel and evil to Greenlee?? HELLO??!! Is he THAT dumb??!! Has he not seen these "signs" for MONTHS??!! I still can't believe that he is "standing by Jonathan" when Greenlee is clearly in distress. After all, from Ryan's perspective, they STILL don't know who poisoned Greenlee........and yet he is willing to leave her alone indefinitely while he "helps" Jonathan-the-loser?!! I wish that Leo would miraculously appear and sweep Greenlee away, so that selfish Ryan couldn't find her when he finally deigns to come home and spend time with her!

WOW - JR (and Adam and Palmer) was mean to Babe, today. But at the same time, I also can't say that I completely oppose that - it's hard to see people being so mean........but then again, Babe DOES deserve it for everything that she "did out of love"........keeping 2 people's children from them and making them believe that their children had passed away. I don't "dislike" Babe all together.......but she, Krystal, and David really DO need to be punished, somehow, for all that they did - particularly keeping Miranda from Bianca, for all of that time! And Babe's keeping Adam III / James's existence a secret affected more people than just JR and Adam - as Palmer said today, he was hurt when he thought that Dixie's grandchild had passed away.........and then there is obviously Bianca's entire, extended family, too..........not to mention Tad (although he seems to have forgiven everything, where Krystal and Babe are concerned).

Concerning the preview of tomorrow's episode and Palmer's reference today - since when do PV inmates actually wear orange jumpsuits?!! Or is Krysal supposed to be in "Statesville"????

Anyway, I was very impressed with the special effects on today's show - it's so neat how they create a fire on a set inside a studio and make it look like an entire building is burning down and people are in danger! I hope that they do rebuild the Wildwind stables, though.......and that they let us know that the horses are OK, too!

About a month ago I looked at my DD's & said, "Hey, Anita looks a little heavy today, I wonder if she's pregnant?" Looks like she is - congrats to her!

We were in Florida & WDW last week so I missed a bunch but caught Friday's episode on SoapNet. Looks like I missed quite a bit. I'll be watching again today though.

I just read a spoiler on a One Life to Live site that says there will be a lot more crossovers with AMC in the comming weeks. I don't know if that will work in reverse or not & whether they include "baby swap" fallout, but I thought it might be helpful to have a heads up for those that tape the shows.

I so wanted Greens to look at Ryan when he was leaving her in that hotel and say "Leo would NEVER have left me." Even Bachelor Bob would have stayed, if there was a hottub.

I actually felt bad today for Edmund & Maria when she was trying to save him. Even though I have come to dislike Edmund it was a little touching.

I really wish the writers wouldn't have made him into such a horrible character. I think there were other ways that who thing could have played out. At one time I really liked Edmund.

I wasn't sad to see Ed-dumb go at all. I used to love him, so sad they made him such a creep. I thought his death was very anticlimactic too. Death by shovel?????? I thought they could have done better.

Ethan is turning into a creep in a big hurry!!! They need to straighten him out, or get him the heck outta dodge. We have enough jerks in PV, hardly any good guys left!

Did Lily witness the murder? I'm guessing she did, and it will be awhile before she comes out enough to clear Zach? I still can't figure out who killed Ed-dumb. I'm guessing Johnny boy would have no reason to kill him, but we think he shot Ryan??? It's gonna be a stretch, I just hope it doesn't take too long.
