Hi, all! Anyone remember me?!?!

Sorry I haven't been around. Starting a new job during the holidays is bad timing all the way around. Life has been CRAZY!!

Finally caught up on this thread today. I had to read about 6 pages during my lunch break. Having a hard time keeping up with the show but I've been managing by watching in 3 & 4 hour marathon sessions.

Now that the holidays are over I'm going to try to keep up with the show by watching in the evenings. I think I'll go watch today's episode now. I'll try to start checking in more often.

According to KathyPVB (who never reveals anything until she knows for sure) Jake is NOT being recast. I know Jake can be a pompous jerk (hey, he's a Martin! ) but I'm going to miss him. It was a mutual decision. His wife and kids live on the west coast. I don't know how he's stuck with it this long.

Saw Eva LaRue on The View today and she mentioned that she has to put on a swimsuit in 10 days to shoot some stuff at a tropical remote! Woo-hoo...AMC is going south! I hope she goes with Aidan. Ed-dumb deserves to be lonely!!!!!!!!


And Anna-flying off to Zurich! That whole preg scare today was lame. If she came into the ER saying she hadn't felt the baby move they would have put her on the monitors "stat". Whatever!

I actually saw about 20 min of the show today, but Missed the last 5 min! HI APRILLE!! I know what its like to work 5 extra hours a week now! Nice that Anna got to talk to Robin via Phone today....I guess we will NEVER see her! I missed HOOLIA! What was she on, for ONE day? Oh, well.

She was on for like 1 or 2 days. I was actually thinking of this today. What happened to HOOOOOOOLIA? She is there, talking to Mauron on the Wildwind sofa one day and then the next poof. Everyone acts like they never saw her. You would think they would have had a tearful goodbye scene or something. Instead they had to waste valuable screen time on Bianca asking Maggie (what is this the 10th time or so) if she wants to be a couple. That is just silly. Bianca knows what she likes and Maggie has made it perfectly clear about her preferences. Anyway, I digress.... Perhaps Edmund locked Hooooolia away in the turret. (Wait that BRICK STRUCTURE burned down didn't it) Maybe Hooooolia is camping out at the unseen residence of Mumma Santos? AMC has really been taking great liberties with continuity lately.

Once again, it was totally painful watching the scenes w/ JR. I just can't bare to watch him. ACK!!

After watching todays show I was like. Oh heck no.....if he would have locked me in a room then it would be OVER! If I was M & M I would dump Eddy in a heartbeat and run right over to HOTTIE Aiden!!! Who needs that hairy beast (Ed) when you can have that sexy Aiden. woohoo.

I dont think that I will miss Jake though, did not like him much. So who will Mia go after next? Hmmmm get back w/ Frank? Or better yet, leave with Jake? hee hee.

Nice to see you again Aprille. I hope you do catch up and post more with us. I miss ya!

Thanks for the welcome back. And congrats on your full-time status at work, Faith! My position is only suppose to be part time which is what I wanted but they're working me pretty hard. I'll probably get a full 40 hours in this week. They don't want me working overtime which is fine by me because I don't want to work any either!

I haven't watched Tuesday's episode yet but was lurking over on PVB and it sounds like Finola Hughes is going back to GH and maybe yesterday was her last day. Nothing "official" from KathyPVB yet. Anna was never a favorite character of mine but she's kind of grown on me lately. Speculation is that she'll lose the baby which will cause Anna and David to drift apart. Didn't I tell you when Anna first found out she was pregnant that the baby would never see the light of day?!?! Why do they have the characters get pregnant just to lose the baby?!?!?! They should re-title the show All My Dead Children. GRRRR!!

wow!! i always figured it was a matter of time before anna went back to GH. her character just doesn't mesh with the AMC cast. but she fits perfectly with the GH cast...maybe that means they'll bring back robert and sean and tiffany!! they were all awesome together...

has anyone heard when maria is supposed to get her memory back? i thought that would be the amazing christmas miracle that seems to happen...you know that they won't pull maria and edmund apart forever.

i haven't really even been watching the show as much lately. i watched when julia was home, but i've only been able to catch bits and pieces since then. i'm glad that greenlee's beginning to come back to life too. i remember that i hated her when she first came to the show. but now she's my favorite...

Yeah, I definitely think that Ed-dumb has gone off the deep end, this time! I wonder if he will keep Maureen locked up, up there and not tell anyone - like when Marian had Adam locked in his safe room! I hope that she can escape or that Aidan can save her! At this point, I really want Maureen and Aidan to get together! Pembo - did you check out Ed-dumb's facial hair when they showed him in the audience of "The View", yesterday? Maybe he grew it for the show - maybe Ed-dumb becomes a hermit, or something and forgoes all regular hygiene, as he slips farther and farther into insanity......!

I think I figured out why they hired this new JR - because of his height and because of his cheek bones' similarity to Adam's. But that's about it. Seeing him act in the same scene with David Canary made it even MORE evident how BAD this actor is - BRING BACK JR #1 OR JR #2!!!!!

I liked the scenes with Anna and David, yesterday, which is surprising because usually they either annoy or bore me to death! I'm sorry to hear that Anna may be leaving to go back to GH - I like her with David as a couple. But she DOES belong in Port Charles, not PV.

As for why no one seems to mention that Hoolia was there, maybe that agent who accompanied her "zapped" everyone with some sort of instrument before he left, so that they would forget ever having seen or spoken to her! (You know, it's very easy to cause someone to lose their memory in PV!)

I loved Kendall and Aidan today. I liked them together but I like him with Maria better only so she won't be with Ed-dumb. Kendall called her Maureena...loved that.

KathyPVB claims to have no word about this so perhaps it's just another rumor running amuck. I suppose time will tell.

Haven't watched since Monday so I have no other contribution for this thread. Once I get more than one day behind I feel like I might as well wait until weekend to catch up. Dangit.
