That's nice that Ruth will be coming back for the holidays! I always loved her and Joe! Even if it's not going to be "original Ruth", I always thought that Lee Merriweather did a nice job with the role and brought something new to it, so it will be nice to see her back! And that's too bad that Hoolia will not be in any scenes with Hayley and Mateo. I'm sure that there will be a touching scene where Maria and Isabella are reunited with Hoolia, though - that will be nice - maybe that's what will ultimately spark Maria's memories, since she and Hoolia were always so close!

Looking forward to the confrontation in the hospital chapel, on today's episode!

okay you all asked for details....let me see.


Day 1 - I wanted to leave by 9:30 or so Thursday morning but I could not get motivated. Finally left around 11:15 and arrived at WDW around 12:30. I drove and parked at the Swan, caught the ferry over to MGM where I knew a large group of DIS'ers were meeting for the parade and then lunch at 50's Prime Time. I had not ate all day so I picked up a pretzel once I was there. Looked around for DISers and finally saw one at the designated meeting place for the parade. I sat there and finished most of the pretzel and then headed over. It was December99. WE hugged and said hello, etc then others started arriving. I met the following DIS'ers before the parade: Dec 99, John T Bap, JFulcer and family, Ray Sharpton, KimRaye, Dan Murphy (have met him several times before) and right now I can not think of the others, there were so many. We went to lunch, where I met many other DIS'ers. Dixie Dreamer, Happy Doc, MickeyFan1, TownCrier, NativeTxn, and more. It was a nice lunch. Lots of people hung around for a while and then a few of us (Dan, Helenabear, Ray, Merriweather & her DH - forgot his screen name) headed to Fantasmic. While waiting for the show to start I met ead79 and mels28 (hope I got those right). After the show they were heading to Osbourne Lights but I left them to go check in my room. It started to rain as I exited the park to go back to the Swan to pick up my car. I will post day 2 later. (keep you in suspense)

Wow - it sounds like you really had an action-packed time at DIS CON, Christine! It's great that you were able to do so much and meet so many great people! And that was only the first day! And I'm glad that you got to spend some time with my pal, Helenabear, from over on the EWP thread!

I hope this is true. I may be the only one, but I kind of liked Lee Meriweather and Joe together. It made Joe seem younger and more vibrant. They need Ruth to be on more often and they need to replace her with someone if Mary Pickett (is that the actresses name) can't do it. Jake and Tad need the character there to work off of.

I thought the game of "keep-away" with David, Mo-Mo and Aidan was funny. Whenever soaps have a slightly fast choreographed "action scene"...it's FUNNY. More David and Tad wrestling matches!!!

I have no recollection of another RUth I only know one. I guess the older one??? It'll be nice to have Mommy back for the holdays...gives the place a homey atmosphere.

Oh wow!!! IASW you're going to be on TV....I just skimmed but is it the Caroline Rhea show? YEs let us know what you're wearing and which show!!! SO fun!!!

Hoolia is probably a 'pet' way to spell Julia.. In spanish Julia is pronounced Hoolia.. The J is pronounced like an H.. What is up with AMC and the Santos familia anyway? Is there some clause that when one Santos appears another must leave..

Hey Everyone!

Yes, Lilboo, we call Mateo and Maria's sister "Hoolia", because it seems that Isabella's accent rarely comes out......unless she is saying the names of her children - "Hoolia", "RRRRRosa", etc. Very strange phenomenon! And she pronounced the "J" in every other word.....except "Hoolia"! Yes, it's the interchangable Santos siblings - Rosa leaves, Maria comes, Mateo leaves, Julia comes.......!

I liked Lee Merriweather as Ruth, also, Sarge - you're right - Joe did seem younger and more "frisky" when she was playing Ruth. And she was motherly enough without being stuffy - I thought that she did a nice job!

Pembo - you're right - Mia sure does look good for falling out a window! I'm sure that she'll be totally back to normal and out of the hospital, the next time we see her. And no, she didn't die, Lilboo - but she does know who pushed her out the window, now - she and Jake overheard Liza confessing to Tad.....so in true Martin form, Jake had her arrested and thrown in jail!

Well, they finally showed Hayley doing "The Wave" for the first time in over a year! I like how she asked Mateo "do I look fat in this?" I thought that they did a good job of hiding the fact that she is many months pregnant! And I liked the flashback to Hayley and Mateo's choreographed dance routine at the original opening of SOS - I remember that! I remember thinking "wow! Where did they learn how to dance like that, in PV?!" I still wonder if Mateo will wind up selling SOS to a current character on the show, or whether it will just go away when Hayley and Mateo do.

Now we get to watch how David gets out of his most recent sentence / arrest, AGAIN. Here we go, again. I'm getting bored with that storyline. I wish that Maria would just get her memory back, already!

OK - now we see how Greenlee and Kendall are going to be working together, but I wonder how Simone fits into the picture??

Sherry and Lilboo - OK, at this point, I have only decided that I will be wearing something black, when we see "Caroline Rhea" on Thursday......very easy assumption, because so much of my wardrobe happens to be black! I know that that doesn't help very much......will get more specific when I post, tomorrow, and when I know exactly what the weather is going to be like on Thursday, too!
