I was actually thinking that you were going to say that Liza chopped off Mia's hair, while she was lying unconscious in the hospital, as one last act of "revenge" / jealousy! Actually, I think that Mia's hair looks nice, shorter.

Yes, Erica should definitely wear the dress that she had planned to seduce Chris in, with her exposed bra, when they get married! And yes, she did kidnap Maddie (and called her "Natasha, the adopted baby from Russia") after she delivered her (remember when she had Maria locked in the cabin and she went into labor??!!). She kidnapped her because she had been pregnant at the same time as Maria, wound up miscarrying, and found out that Maria's baby could have been Dimitri's, plus she always hated Maria (especially for hiding her prescription pad after Erica started writing herself prescriptions for pain killers with it!)! And I miss "Dallas", too. I don't remember Jake being on that show, but I don't think that I was watching regularly, towards the end.

I also caught a bit of Susan Lucci on HSN, Pembo! And I saw Mark Consuelos co-host "Live" with Kelly, this morning. They were very cute and funny, I thought - they are obviously very comfortable with one another, and Mark was "better" as himself than he's been, as the constantly brooding Mateo, lately!

I forgot about R&K. I am hooked on The Wayne Brady Show!

I think my mom owns one of Susan's bags. And she uses her hair products! LOL Wal-Mart sells the hair products, I might pick some up this weekend.

I really like Liza's hair. I was LOL cuz my brother was saying how nice it was that Liza had time to get her hair done while her sister is in a coma! LOL

Well, let's do the time warp again! Mia fell at the costume party.. That was days before Thanksgiving... AMC acknowledged T'giving and one would assume it is at least 2 days past the holiday by now.. What day is Jake on? Did T'giving pass over the PVH?? I know these things are small but they really tick me off.. Why does he say yesterday when he should have said 2 weeks ago or something.

Oh Dallas and Knot's Landing.. I would never miss one of those shows. I think I have seen each Dallas episode 3 times by now.. The actor that plays Jake played Carter McKay's (George Kennedy) son on Dallas.. His troubled son who came to live with him and was a drug addict. Carter and his son lived in Ray and Jenna's house after they left for Europe.. Bobby dated Carter's Daughter for a while.. Anyway, this was at the end of the series.. The last two years or so of Dallas were pretty hard to watch.

Yeah - I'm with you on Mia's eyebrows. While they're at it, they can work on Ed-dumb's, too. Maybe there is a "hospital salon specialist" who comes around to fix up the patients in PVH - obviously they forgot about Mia's eyebrows, and Ed-dumb's, when he was in the hospital, too!

Yes, time is very confusing in PV.....for some people, it's the day after the ball, and for some people, it's weeks after Thanksgiving! I wonder how long ago Leo was "supposed to" have died? Soon, they will speed up time so that Greenlee can stop mourning and ultimately get together with Trey. Soon, she'll be saying "I can't believe that Leo's been gone for a year.....I never thought that I would find true love, again....."!

I wish that I had seen those last few years of "Dallas".....maybe I can catch those episodes on TNN - I believe that they show the re-runs! I miss night time "soap operas"! The more recent Aaron Spelling night time soaps ("90210" not included! ) have been far inferior to those of the 80's!

I haven't watched today's episode, yet - will watch it with DH, later, and will check in afterwards!

Oh I couldn't agree more about the recent batch of night time soaps.. They just don't cut it.. I was really kind of excited about Titans and it was actually not all that bad, but it didn't make it. It still couldn't hold a candle to Dallas or Knots... Unfortunately TNN is not showing Dallas any more. They stopped a couple years back. For a while there Dallas was a big thing on the web with younger viewers, etc.. Hopefully it will return to some cable channel soon. They are working on a "Dallas" movie with an all new cast. I am not sure I am all that excited about that.

Ed-dumbs eyebrows have bothered me for years. UGH! They soo need to trim those things!

Speaking of the actor who plays Jake, did any of you ever see him in the movie Lambada? That movie cracks me up when I see it now, but when it first came out I loved it and thought J. Eddie was sooo hot!!
I used to watch Dallas (and I LOVED Knots Landing!!!) but don't remember him in it.

Now wait a minute. Maybe Mia did have someone come and give her a hairclip while she was in the hospital...maybe Jake called in the hairdresser to help her feel "pretty" when she came to. Its possible. While my mom was in intensive care last week we were wandering the hallways and came across a hair salon IN THE HOSPITAL. We asked the gal working there about her shop and she said patients call and have her come to their rooms and "fix them up" for visitors and that patients families will pop in for a quick trim while family is in surgery or intensive care (with alot of wait time) She says she stays plenty busy. So SEE Mia could have had her hair done in the hospital!!

I'm going to have to go out and rent "Lambada", now, Sherry, just to see one of Jake's past roles! I wish that I could remember him from "Dallas". Maybe I'll look on the 'net and see if I can find any pictures of him from those days! I didn't know that they were talking about making a "Dallas" movie, Sarge! I hope that they don't do that......it could never be like the TV series or its cast......

And I will definitely let you know what I'm going to wear on the day that we go see the "Caroline" taping, Sherry....once I have figured that out, myself! What time is her show on, in your area? Weirdly enough, even though her show originates from NYC, I believe that we're the only market in which she is not on during the day - her show is taped for broadcast at 12:35 AM, in the NY area! So, we will get to see the show that we see taped in the morning, on TV that night!

I haven't watched today's episode, yet, but I just have to make a comment about yesterday's episode. Did anyone else notice how many times Kendall said the new character, Boyd's name, during the big whopping 3 minutes that he was on camera?? I guess they were trying to establish that he is going to be a regular character and get the audience to remember his name by having Kendall say it in every sentence (sort of like "Revlon", "Revlon", Revlon".....Giovanna?!)!

By the way, I heard from Aprille and she said that she misses everyone here and will post as soon as she has a chance! She is very busy with her new job and work schedule, and had some computer problems, as well. But she is thinking of everyone and will be in touch, soon!

You didn't miss much with yesterday's show, Faith - just "plot forwarding stuff".......Greenlee beginning to get her new business plans together, Jake asking Mia to marry him that night, Marian begging Stuart not to talk to Liza about why she pushed Mia, Laurie admitting to JR that the custodian is her father.....blah, blah, blah.......

Did you know that Jake had his own website?? Check out this link.. LOL!!! He used to be a model, I never knew that.. If you look at his photos section and then picture #3, that is how he used to look in his 'Dallas' years...

IASW Rider - I think the Dallas Movie thing is actually going to go forward, but I am not sure. There was speculation before as to who could actually play JR.. If they were smart, they would make it a Dallas - Next Generation and have Larry Hagman, Linda Grey, Patrick Duffy and other cast members in the movie introducing a whole new 'Dallas' cast including Christopher and John Ross...
I don't see how they can have a new 'JR' and have anyone accept it.

Well being the avid Dallas viewer that I am/was.. I remember Scalia on Dallas.. He played Nicholas Pearce. He was Sue Ellen Ewing's 'younger' lover and helped her leave JR Ewing.. His departure from Dallas was rather swift however. After fighting with JR on the balcony of a penthouse, he took a very high swan dive off the balcony and, of course, died. Sue Ellen replied to seeing her lover fall off the balcony by picking up a gun and shooting JR. I think Jack was on Dallas all of one or maybe 2 seasons.. Speaking of Dallas Crossovers Ray Krebbs played Del Hunkle's father on AMC for a little while.

Wasn't the character's name "Seabone Hunkle", Sarge? What a name! I remember Jack Scalia and Susan Lucci being on Dallas, as well, PNelson! I will have to look at Jake's website! I agree with you, Sarge - they should make a "Dallas: Next Generation" film, instead of trying to replace JR (Ewing, that is - they NEED to replace JR CHANDLER! )

I'm with you, Pembo - I hope that Laurie's father gets rid of JR for good! Boyd is a pseudo-Leo-lookalike in a leather jacket, with the same highlighted hair that Leo had when he first arrived in PV. Apparently, he is a chemist for Enchantment cosmetics, who works for Erica. From what I read, they are going to use him as a possible love interest for Kendall......who in PV ISN'T a possible love interest for Kendall?! And yeah - I'll buy that "I tripped on my dress" excuse from Liza! Right! Does she REALLY believe that that's the way that it happened, or has she just convinced herself of that fact, now? I wonder what Mia and Jake are going to say.....Monday should be interesting! I liked how Mia was instructing Jake about what her physical therapy plan should be!

And I don't get why Aidan is threatening David with the serum either, Pembo and Faith. Anna is going to be awfully upset if David loses his memory! This whole amnesia thing is ridiculous, already. But at least it's better than what we were suffering through last year, at this time......PROTEUS!

Yeah, apparently the NY and LA markets didn't want to "gamble" on Caroline by putting her in Rosie's old time slot, when her show first started, so they air(ed) her show at 12:35 AM, up against Conan O'Brien, in those 2 areas. Apparently, LA now shows her show in the morning, so NY - the place where she tapes her show - is the only area that doesn't broadcast her show live! We have Wayne Brady at 10:00 AM, instead! Will let you know what I'm going to wear, later in the week!

I'm sorry......I digress........well, now that everyone is going to find out that Liza pushed Mia out the window, she will be PV's newest "scarlet woman", and at least that will take some of the heat off of Brooke! Where has Jamie been, lately? Now that both JR and Jamie have been forbidden to see the girls they love, but the girls' parents, maybe they will team up and have a whole "Romeo and Juliet" thing going, with the couples helping eachother sneak around to see one another.

Would David actually trust Ed-dumb with his actual research?! Promise of a grant or no promise of a grant, I doubt it. And when was David ousted as Chairman (or whatever) of the Andrassi Foundation? Who's running the show, there, now that Alex and Ditsie are gone? Couldn't that foundation have funded David's research, somehow??

Hi, Ladies & Sarge! Just popping in to say a quick "hi" and let you know I've missed y'all! I've been busy with my new job and getting ready for the holidays so my life has been very hectic. I haven't been able to keep up with the show on a daily basis. I had a marathon session yesterday and watched the entire week in one sitting. I had many other things I should have been doing but, hey - a girl has to set her priorities. LOL! Haven't taken the time to catch up on this thread yet. I see y'all have been very busy posters!!

My only comments for the week:

WAY TOO MUCH JR!!! Haven't the idiots in charge figured out that this kid CAN'T ACT?!?!?!

I read in ABC Soaps In Depth that they want to make JR and Laurie the next Greg and Jenny. NOOOOOOO!! Jamie and Joanie would be a much better choice! At least NuJamie can act!

Also read that Hoolia and Mateo won't be in any scenes together. Mark and Kelly taped their last scenes before Sydney came back. Eva LaRue was upset they couldn't have timed it better to let them all be together before Mateo and Hayley left.

That's all for now. I won't be around much until after the holidays but will check in when I can!
