I don't check in for a few days and everyone posts! Great to "see" you all!
And great to catch up on all of your posts!
You guys are absolutely right - a million dollars says that Maria will remain unconscious until Dr. Dave is released from jail to cure her (just like he was released from jail to perform Laura's heart transplant). UGH.
I also think that the Edmund / Maria reunion was anti-climactic and can't believe that we didn't get to see Mateo's reaction to the news that his sister is alive (of course, that just gave Hayley a new reason to get up on her soap box and "reprimand" someone - she even SAID ".....I gave Brooke a lecture". I guess that that's Hayley's new purpose - to act holier than thou and look down on people. Brooke is supposedly one of her best friends - has she no sympathy at all for her? Or even a desire to hear her side of the story??). And I can't believe that Mateo was planning to tell Isabella on the phone, either! I hope that they at least allow us to see the family's reaction, the first time that they see Maria, herself! And why doesn't someone tell Maria that she has a son, too, already??!! Or that she was a well-respected neurologist?? (As I've said, wouldn't David have known her from the medical community, at least?)
I loved when Tad came to cheer up Brooke yesterday. I like the fact that they're finally allowing him to be more lighthearted, now. I just feel so badly for Brooke - it looks like she is on the verge of a real breakdown. I hope that someone else "takes her side" and tries to make Edmund see why she did what she did. Maybe even Maria, herself, will explain to him why she believes Brooke didn't tell him that she is alive. As much as I was sure that they were slowly setting up and eventual love triangle between Brooke, Tad, and Liza, I read on SoapCentral that they're currently casting a (possibly) new character who may be a love interest for Tad, eventually. They also reported on SoapCentral that Noah and Hoolia have been approached to return to the show (that probably won't happen).
I also can't stand Kendall - and I especially can't stand her stupid head bobbing thing! What is she up to, now? And why does Aidan keep falling for it??!! He's an idiot.
Isn't the whole town wondering why Brooke and Edmund mysteriously cancelled their wedding reception? (At least they finally explained that, the other day - I was wondering where everyone else went while Brooke was making her revelation to Edmund in the chapel - didn't anyone wonder where the bride and groom were, all that time?!) The whole town must know that something is up!
How long do you all think that it will take for Maria to fully "reclaim her former life" and completely act like her "old self", have her job back at the hospital, etc.? I suspect that she will have a big breakthrough around Christmas time and that by Valentine's day, she will be back working at PVH and living happily with Edmund and their kids.
I agree - Greenlee always has the best lines on the show - and she's great at delivering them, too! I just love Leo and Greenlee! It's hard to remember that a year ago now, he was "with" Laura!
Erica and Chris were adorable, 2 days ago, with the photo shoot - I loved how he just picked her up and like hoisted her onto his shoulder! I wonder if Chris will find out that Ben's father is Kendall's father while he is investigating the Proteus thing / arson at Erica's house.
Will we EVER see the end of the stupid Proteus storyline??!!
