Hughes' Future With AMC Questioned

According to online chatter, Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) may be returning to the very place where she got her start in daytime television - General Hospital.

Hughes debuted as Anna Devane on GH in 1985, but the immensely popular character was killed off in a boat explosion in 1992. Nearly a decade later, the character was resurrected -- on All My Children -- as part of ABC's attempt to link all of its soaps.

The move upset fans on both All My Children and General Hospital.

Aprille-you are so observant, I missed the ring line on VI's hand! The last time Doc was in jail didn't he punch a wall to get surgery on his hand to get out of jail???? And why is the security so bad in PV? Edmund had people " all over Wildwind" yet Maria got away and then Edmund appears in the jail house! He's like a ghost!

How is everyones holiday weekend going? I am at work today, we get double time and a half so I do not mind it that much. I moved over the weekend so I was pretty busy. I had to tape Firdays show and I just watched it today. They are not showing the show today here though, they have on a Labor Day Telethon on today so now ABC soaps.

Erica and Chris will be threatened by a new person in town involved with Jackson. Jack should finally have a love interest.

Stuart will try hard to keep the Chandler family together and less dysfunctional.

I know this is the world of soaps but isn't it incredible how people can just throw away their feelings at the drop of a hat?

How can Edmund just throw Brooke away?

And Kendall isn't having a hard time with her conscience, hot-footing it after that, what'd she just call him, "British twit".

Anyway-I must be a terribly mean person because I was GLEEFUL when Maria spurned ol' Eddie-wished she'd kept it up.

Oh-bless little Greenlee-she gets the best one liners-but I won't take it away from Aprille-I adore her quote highlights!

I'm sure there were more but I was watching live today and those are the two that caught my attention.

Is anyone else as bored to tears with Maria as I am?! I am just not into this storyline AT ALL! They had me going for a couple of days last week but I'm gone again now. First of all, Edmund told Mateo and Hayley about Maria off camera. What's up with that?! Then Mateo calls Isabella on the phone to tell her about Maria. Come on!! I'm still holding out hope that he's going to tell her he's coming over to talk to her. Surely he is NOT going to tell her Maria is alive ON THE PHONE!!! I'm afraid next time we see Isabella she will already know and we will have been robbed of her reaction to the big news. I'm going to be extremely po'd if that happens!! And I thought the Edmund/Maria reunion was about as anticlimatic as it gets. I'll admit I'm enjoying the storylines connected to Maria but Maria herself is just not doing it for me. And I love John Callahan but IMO his acting has been abysmally bad since he found out Maria is still alive. I'm not feeling the angst - the anger at Brooke, yes - the angst, no. I'm sure the fact that Saint Maria was never one of my favorite characters has jaded my judgement on this whole storyline.

And since I haven't said it lately, let me say it now - I HATE KENDALL!!!

I am SO thrilled I am not the only one dissappointed in the Maria/Maureen Story line! Get it over with already! And, yes Kendall is a true Bi*** JUST like her MOTHER! She sounds more like Erica EVERYDAY! Thank God for Greenlee--she keeps me going with her great one-liners! And TAD FINALLY DYED HIS HAIR!! YIPPEE!! Now, if he could only drop about 45 pounds...... And I have lost total Respect for Edmund--Brooke should tell him she KNEW he was going to choose Maria over her! Gad, what an IDIOT expecting Maria to REMEMBER Him!
