All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

I have seen this show so many times, and I never tire of it.

Do not let this evil one take over!

Bella calls her the ha ha girl, because she says 'Aha!' when she comes out.

The forces of good, along with all of the Dreams come true! shouts from the crowd, will overcome that crazy old bat!

That's it for now. Bella just woke up. I will start this day. We will be going to Disney Live this afternoon, so we'll have pictures from that later. Have a beautiful Sunday!

That's so sweet that you and Bella had some solo time that morning! The Fantasyland construction looks like it's coming along great! I can't wait for it to be done!

Have fun at Disney Live! :yay:

Have fun at the show! Maybe your dream was telling you to get some french fries at the show :confused3:lmao: Looking forward to the pics.

Bella and her carousel -- always love those pictures because I know how much she loves that ride! :goodvibes

Too funny that she calls Maleficent the "ha ha girl." That would really take the wind out of that old witch's sails if she knew that. :lmao:

Have fun at the show today!

I had a Disney (no surprise) watch many, many years ago, but I think I probably got tired of taking it off and on to wash hands and dishes and do assorted chores when Jill was a baby. It was easier to not wear one at all, so I got used to not having anything on, and now it's annoying to have something on my wrist.

I wear a big old clunky waterproof watch so I only take it off at night. That is probably why I actually wear it. In fact can't go anywhere without it. Even though I have my phone and probably a million clock around I need to have the timeon my wrist but that is it, nothing else on my wrist.

Hope you got some good rest. Work, rest, or play - what does today hold?
Hopefully more rest than work, housework that it. Need to get caught up at home a bit more and if I don't talk myself out of it a run.

If you wake up in the middle of the night and the phrase that greets you out of your brain is-

A dream is a wish your potato makes.....

is there any hidden meaning to that? :laughing
:rotfl2::rotfl2: maybe a Brooklynn or Bella ism? Or just a love of potatoes? :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I like potatoes, though.
Mashed, fried, boiled, or baked, I'm happy with them! :goodvibes

Me too!!!!

Beautiful morning MK pics!! A wonderful way to start the day.

That's great that you & Bella got some quality time alone.:goodvibes

I love potatoes too but I can say I have never had dreams or waking up singing about them.

Have a wonderful time at Disney Live. I am sure you will all have a ball!!

You know it can be hard to ruin a potato....
I enjoyed some hash-brown casserole at Cracker Barrel yesterday. (and yes, I thought of you)
That Bella is a hoot with her names for people and things. Maleficent would be beside herself if she thought she had such a jolly nick-name!

Disney Live is great! We had a blast in January! It will be the perfect Disney for you all! Are the girls wearing something special?

I LOVE being in the Magic Kingdom! Thank you for sharing those pictures!!! One of my goals for may next trip is to, hopefully, see the Stepsisters out and about.

:rotfl:How funny about your dream. Hope you manage to figure it out! When i wake up in the night, i sometimes lay there going over Disney menus and such things. I think once you have the Disney bug, it's never far from your thoughts!!:confused3
It's so nice that you got to spend precious alone time with little Bella.Your MK photo's make me wish i was there right now:lovestruc
i hope you enjoyed Disney live.:earsboy:

I'm sure Bella really enjoyed that one on one time with her Memom. I am so excited for Fantasyland to open. It was so sad being there the other day and Dumbo was gone. It was so foggy in the morning that I couldn't really get a good look and it was dark by the time I made my way back over there again. I am most excited about the seven dwarfs coalmine. It looks like it is going to be a lot of fun, but we have a long wait for that one.

Hmm... I'll have an iced mocha coffee, please. :goodvibes

Wow, I've never noticed before, but Mickey's coat is just dripping in BLING. That show is just so cute and fun.

Disney Live sounds like a blast! Hope you enjoy(ed) it!

Hi! Coming out of lurkdom. I've followed a couple of your tr in the past as well. My dh and I were just talking about doing a Christmas/New Year trip a couple days ago.
Sorry about the bad news at Disney, we had to leave Disney a couple years ago b/c of some terrible news we received there. I guess at least you're in your happy place if that's where it has to be.

Fun morning with Bella. I love seeing her with the characters now, since she was so afraid of them a few years ago. :)

I so enjoy seeing all the secret footage everyone gets when riding Dumbo. Don't you know if Disney could figure out how to put a lid over the entire construction site to keep anyone from seeing anything unsightly, they would! ;)

Enjoy your show and afternoon! :)

I was extremely happy to hear all of my DIS friends were ok and weathered the storms :goodvibes

I hope you enjoyed Disney Live!

The Bella and horsies pictures were wonderful. It's great that she was a early riser and you were able to have special time with her

I enjoyed the show pictures. I need to put it on my Sept list of things to do. We have missed this show and the parades our last couple of trips.

We will have so many new things to take pictures of!

Hmmm....maybe that was it. I didn't go to a concession stand, though, so I don't know if they had them. The girls got some pretzels and candy and a bottle of water, but that was it. Maybe I can follow through on some fries this week at some point. :thumbsup2

She does love the Carrousel. I don't know how much longer that will last, because I'm sure as soon as she is allowed on the big stuff, she'll be off and running for those.

Kind of tough to be too evil when you are the ha ha girl, isn't it?

Me too!!!!

The dream was my own craziness, I am sure. I won't blame that on the girls. If I was dreaming about Disney and food, it would not be a surprise. ;)

This weekend seems to have gone by very, very quickly!

Glad you enjoyed the Magic Kingdom pictures. :wizard:

I have to say, this is my first singing potato dream.

Hash browns, potato salad, baked potato and salad, potato soup....

should I go on? :rolleyes1

Have you ever read the book Flossie and the Fox to your students?
This would be Bella and Maleficent.
'You ain't nuttin so turrible. You got horns? A goat got horns. You muss shore 'nuff be a goat!'
:rotfl:

They are a crazy bunch! They are always a lot of fun - so quick-witted.

I was probably just having a dream about some good munchies, and I feel sure Disney is permanently ingrained in my subconscious by this point. There is no telling what kind of things I dream! I just don't remember them very often.

I think going to Magic Kingdom right now is not such a good idea for those who are only going to go once or twice in a lifetime. The construction is exciting to us, but for those people, I'm sure they are not caring for it. I try to warn people who are going now of what they will see to prepare them.

I agree about the Mine Train. I think it is going to be a good one.

Hmm... I'll have an iced mocha coffee, please.

It was raspberry lemonade for us.

Mickey does have a sparkling tux, doesn't he?

So glad to have you!
We enjoyed our trip, and we have taken other Christmas trips. We just play things right and have a good time. :)

Sorry that you also heard bad news in Disney World. I'm sure you can relate to that surreal 'foggy' feeling I was talking about.

Fun morning with Bella. I love seeing her with the characters now, since she was so afraid of them a few years ago. :)

I'm sure the WDW company does wish we couldn't get pictures, but it sure is fueling the fire of excitement that we can. ;)

Bellas was afraid of characters right up to this trip. Once she felt comfortable, she really enjoyed it, except for just a very few.

I was extremely happy to hear all of my DIS friends were ok and weathered the storms

I hope you enjoyed Disney Live!

I think everyone made it okay. I know some DIS people got snow - and quite a bit of it.

The Bella and horsies pictures were wonderful. It's great that she was a early riser and you were able to have special time with her

I enjoyed the show pictures. I need to put it on my Sept list of things to do. We have missed this show and the parades our last couple of trips.

She starts my days right when she comes in my room with wild hair and sleepy eyes in the morning, smiles a Bella smile, and says, "I want to hold you." Believe me, I am happy to snuggle up and let her hold me. ;) Sometimes out of the blue she'll just hug one of us and say she loves us. She's got such a sweet nature.

We enjoy the shows, and we're parade people, too. Parade time is a good time to be in a ride line, too, so I understand why a lot of people never watch them.

Disney Live was good. The girls enjoyed it, and Bella is very much into the Disney Princesses right now. The show was not as good as a Disney on Ice show, though, we didn't think. We had very good seats, but pictures were not allowed. There were several people taking pictures anyway - some they spoke to and some they didn't. Jill took a couple of phone pics during the final minute after seeing that half the audience was flashing all over the place and no ushers were saying anything. Anyway, that's all we got, so sorry about the promise of pictures. We had a fun afternoon, and it was a quick little taste of Disney. The girls each got some flashing Mickey swords. I do have a picture of that I will get loaded later. Good night, all!

I have not read "Flossie and the Fox" I need to find it though. My maternal grandmother's name was Flossie. I really need to find that book and read it!
Thanks for the suggestion!

I think your students will like it. It's one of my favorite books to read, because I put some 'flare' into reading what Flossie says in her dialect, as well as the frustration that the fox has. I love to watch the kids' faces as they listen.

Isn't it something how our conversations sometimes develop into totally unrelated things? The Ha Ha Girl and Bella in Disney World may now provide the opportunity for your second-graders in Kansas to enjoy a new book! Another point for a Disney trip being educational in many ways! :woohoo:

Too bad they wouldn't let you take pictures. I bet most people had cameras with them.:sad2:

Oh well you got some Disney time with all your girls.:goodvibes

I never tire of the castle show either. I love it! When Minnie gets to feel like a princess...I love it! :) I'm glad you guys had fun at Disney live!
