Who did you book your Hyatt with in the end Johnny?
Your trip sounds amazing and I hope you all have a brilliant time.
We would love to stay at SSR but was a bit unsure as to how we could book it and also how much it was going to cost us.
One day perhaps.
I know how difficult it is to get time out of school as I too work in one, not as a teacher but as a learning mentor all I can say is that I am really lucky as our head is really good.

Hi,

We booked the Hyatt through 'airline-network', worked out at £114.
Hyatt's own website was double that price.

We booked SSR by advertising on the DVC rent/trade board, requesting which nights we required and how many points etc
Received an email off a very nice lady in the US who had points available at $10 per point.
After a few emails she made the reservation for us and provided contact details/references and confirmation booking number etc

It is yes Hilary, however............Julie is now looking at Discovery Cove, and a couple of ADRs still accomodation all booked which is the main thing.

Sounds like my kind of trip, Johnny. We'll be staying at SSR in August and again in January and we've requested Grandstand for both. We're still undecided about Omni Championsgate - only because we've got the opportunity to stay at the new Reunion Grande and I'm finding it hard to resist. The accommodation will be very similar to the villas at the Omni as it's a condo hotel.

You've clearly put a lot of thought into the planning of this one - I hope it all works out well for you.

It was a struggle Carol, and as you know I did 'retire' from the DIS also, but couldn't stay away and this post illustrates why - so many people who care.

Lis - bananas are ok on this thread.

I can understand the dilemma Deb, but either way it sounds fantastic - in a strange way and I guess for different reasons we have similar ideas on our accomodation tastes....obviously 2 great DISer's like us have impeccable taste

We have been to Discovery Cove before Mikki, but the day was ruined by the weather and our slot was delayed by well over 2 hours - Josh fell asleep! May not be the best planning therefore to try again as that was in March also.

Karen - we are there for 20 nights from 14th March, cannot remember now why it isn't 21 but I am sure there is a reason.
