phew...it may still be ages before we go, March 14th for 3 weeks....but our holidays just get more and more complex each time.
At last we are all sorted, just counting the months down now.

Upgrade to PE with Virgin both ways, seats booked.

First night - Hyatt MCO Airport hotel, mainly as we really want to get Joshua settled down as soon as we can, and it's a nice hotel.

Then, 4 nights Omni Rosen Champion's Gate villas - looks fantastic and cannot wait to stay there.

Then , 3 nights Saratoga Springs Resort - points rented off my new DVC friend Tara.
Had a good tour around here last year but prefer to rent.

Then, rest of stay in a 5 bedroomed villa at Indian Creek, one we have rented before.

In theory should be the best holiday we have had, not staying as long in a private villa gives us the option of staying at resorts that have facilities available. I also think Josh will love the the kid's features at the Omni.
Should be plenty for all of us to do and then we can switch off a bit and relax at the private villa later on.

Already have a few days left on our Magic Your Way Disney tickets, and will probably just see what is on offer for Universal and Sea World nearer the time.

A day at Clearwater also planned.

:thumbsup2 good luck on your plans.you will love SSR, what have you booked a studio,1 bed?

...and it won't be as hot and humid as last time you went:thumbsup2 3 weeks must be great - not the mad dash to squash everything into just 14 days!!

Its a great feeling once its all booked. Does Joshua cope with change well? And have the schools around your neck of the woods got three weeks off at Easter as I know you have mentioned your wife being a teacher? Sorry I sound nosey! Don't mean to be. I just know you deserve a great break.

1 bed Paul, requested Grandstand.

It's been made slightly more difficult because we arrive on a Friday night, as you know points are so steep at weekends , especially as it's the most expensive time points wise anyway.

I know should be cooler, mind you last time we went in March it was pretty chilly on some mornings. Better for Josh though.

He doesn't cope with change at all Wendy ;) we have saved the private villa stay till last because once he gets settled at Indian Creek he won't want to stay anywhere else.
It is not our usual thing to stay in too many different places, just last time we found staying 17 nights in the villa just too long - trying to get the balance of finding 1/2 bedroomed accomodation that suited all 3 of us was hard.
Especially as we do not feel Josh would be suited to many of the timeshare type resorts that are spread out over vast areas. In a way SSR is a bit like that, however if we get our preferred location it will be great for him as there are water fountains etc, Omni looks great for Josh too - it seems like we have found the perfect balance for all us....

Me and Julie have virtually no social life at all at home, but on holiday it's nice to get chance to socialise on the odd night, just cannot do this at a villa.
Hence for 7 nights we wanted facilities, restaurants, a bar etc - in doing this though we have found places that caters for kid's too.

Joshua being off at Easter is no problem, he can take a few days out of school - Julie it's more difficult, she has had to apply for a week off so to speak. To be honest I think future holidays will be in the summer again, just Josh hated it last August in the heat but I don't think he was himself generally also.

It's very difficult to explain sometimes but even driving past the Formosa Gardens turn off, where Indian Creek is, to go to say Publix or Chick-fil-a (both are a mile or so past the junction)...can cause him to get upset.
Hence we are planning on staying well clear of Kissimmee until we check into the villa.

One of my workmates is actually out there at the same time as us, total coincidence, he has never been before but his mum has. So looking forward to meeting up with them somewhere.

Only one thing on our minds now, ADRs? last year we booked 3 but cancelled them all as we couldn't even get Josh to go in Golden Corral - if we took his portable DVD player he would definitely go in!!

will let you know what grandstand like when we get back in aug.Weve asked for congress park for proximity to downtown disney, but if we wernt draging al the inlaws with us would have gone for grandstand,as like the look of pool and kids area, also have seen on dvc boards that they put on films on an inflateable screen, think josh would love that if they did it when you go

Thanks.
We were sort of undecided at first between Congress Park, Springs and Grandstand, but went for the newer 'bit' and that pool looks good for Josh, as does the main pool also.

Great news.
Keep your eyes open for me(pic in profile or my website). We are there 22nd Mar-5th Apr.

im glad you have managed to book a holiday that should suit all three of you

Sounds great! Hope the range of accomodation works out well for you all :)

Sounds like you have a wonderful trip planned Johnny - I sincerely hope it is more successful and relaxing for you than your last trip :goodvibes

We have requested the Grandstand section at SSR for our trip in August so, if we get it, we will do a full review when we get back and make sure to take lots of pictures for you to show Josh :thumbsup2

I must admit, I had a look at the Omni Resort after you were discussing it the other day and it does look fabulous - you are sure to love it there :)
