Thanks Jeanette - sorry I am not deliberatley trying to keep 'bumping' this thread, just if someone takes the time to post I always like to thank them.

Johnny, I was so pleased to see this thread. I know Julie, you and Joshua will have a wonderful time.

Hi Johnny,

We are going to be staying at the Omni in mid Feb 2008 - so if you have any questions when we come back (or anything you'd like me to find out for you when we are there) then give me a PM.

Who did you book with ? We booked a while ago with Findmeaccom.com at quite a reasonable rate compared to the Omni website (there were no offers for Feb.2008) that included breakfast for the 4 of us (2a & 2c) (Roomsnet.com were good too but with no breakfast) but just found a better deal with Alpharooms (best not to look after you book, I know :headache: ).

We're still undecided about Omni Championsgate - only because we've got the opportunity to stay at the new Reunion Grande and I'm finding it hard to resist. The accommodation will be very similar to the villas at the Omni as it's a condo hotel.

.

You could do both ;) ;) ;)

Hi ,

We booked with Omni direct, because we are staying in one of the 2 bedroomed villas there we couldn't find any special offers or cheaper prices.
Did shop around but no luck.

Thanks for the offer, if I can think of anything will let you know. :)

I try to book with companies with low cancellation fees, then if I see a better deal just cancel it and re-book. A lot of hotel groups allow you to cancel right up to 24 hours before arriving without any fees.

Good point Wayneg...
I did book with Roomsnet originally (about 6 weeks ago), then cancelled and booked with FindMeAccom. 2 days later, as it was not only slightly cheaper, but included breakfast....I lost my initial £10 deposit but it was still worth it.

Then I made the mistake of looking on Alpharooms yesterday, while searching for something else...of course just my luck it was £15 in total cheaper than FMA ! Nevermind, its not enough to worry about, and not worth changing to ...but you are right -it pays to shop around :)
