Hey there! I found your PTR!

I'm so jealous you're going on a Disney cruise. I would love to do one someday... I've never been on a cruise at all! Your trip is so close... how exciting that you'll be in WDW a week today. I'll bet this week just flies by for you, especially if you're working.

Can't wait to read all about your trip! I like the idea of doing the whole TR on the boards here and just the cruise bit over on those boards. I really look forward to hearing about the sea part of your trip!

May 22nd - Star Wars Weekend @ MGM/DHS

I am very much looking forward to this day, I think it will be a lot of fun. I am a Star Wars fan, not to the point of full geekdom but I have seen the movies quite a few times.

This day is proving hard to plan out though as there is no schedule of special events so far that I have seen so right now we are pretty much winging it.

I know we will need to get there super early and that there is a fun pre-show with the Storm Troopers at rope drop. I also know that if I want a celebrity autograph that I should be prepared to stand in a line for hours on end. Fortunately I am not planning on getting an autograph so I can eliminate that from the list.

I am going to try and get my picture with as many of the special Star Wars characters as I can, I think that the Disney characters dressed up as people from the movie is too cute.

Pretty much my plan for the day is to bring a highlighter with me and grab a Times Guide as soon as we get into the park and highlight everything we want to see and then go from there. I really wish they would release a schedule ahead of time though, I hate not knowing what to expect!

I think I have heard that all the Star Wars stuff usually wraps up by mid-afternoon so we will probably leave after that and have a relaxing dinner off property before heading back to the room to pack because we are leaving for the cruise in the morning!

Wow, we are getting so close...in four days we will be meeting and I will be enjoying my first Dole Whip.

DH is a Star Wars fan too. We are going on the 23rd for MMH. Hopefully it won't be too packed.

Just checking in. Your plans for the 21st and 22nd look great. Wish we were staying for SW weekend. Well be in Epcot on the 21st too, we are having dinner at Le Cellier and staying for Illuminations. I can't wait to read your TR. Your going on what would be my dream cruise . Your going to have so much fun.

I know, I know I am just not an early packer, I am very much a procrastinator and not just at packing. In school I would always wait until the night before an essay was due to write it, sometimes I would even write it the day it was due! I work best under pressure!
