Alex & Tim's PJ: SBP/Sago Cay/YSH 12/09/09: UPDATED-Hair is done!

Love the Yachtsman, we had the best server ever there. His name is Ricardo and he was so nice. He must have spent over 1/2 an hour just talking to us after we finished our meals.

Have a glass of wine...it will totally relax the nerves! ::yes::

Nice idea but we don't drink - only diet coke and coffee so the caffeine may not help at the mo!

Hi,

Wondering if you can post your BEO?

Thanks!!

No problem. I'll get it on here over the weekend. We have had the final costings from Rosie in floral so I can now add that in too.

You're the second person to say how good the servers are there which is really good to hear.

We've just been shopping for tim's wedding band and he went for a 9ct yellow gold flat band. It looks really good. We've had to order it as they didn't carry his size. It cost us the grand total of £7/$12 as he won some money on the lottery last week!

We signed off our BEO with our planner and sent the credit card authorisation form yesterday. The money has been taken so that is it - all confirmed and payed for. Wow, now this is serious. I'm nearly an old married woman!

I know! Scary isn't it??? DF and I both agree that our emotions are in the DFTW...that this one is just for legal purposes...Face it ...I'm gonna cry like a baby at the one in 30 days...at least I'll be able to get thru the DFTW tear free (yeah right...what ever! LOL)

Awww *passes a box of tissues across the Big Pond*

Listen, it might be for legal reasons but you are still getting married. You can enjoy it knowing that the big celebration is to come :goodvibes

I know. I guess that is why I'm glad that we are doing this now...Then come the DFTW we can take in more of it and not be so wrapped up in "what's my line???" :rotfl:
I'm even considering doing a "first look" for our DFTW. Heck, we will have already done all of the simple traditions the wedding before...why not mix it up a little!

I've posted this on the main Wedding board but wanted to put it in our PJ too.

The only thing we spent more money on than we intended to was lunch. We were originally going to go to the GFC and had 12-14 guests so we reckon lunch ended up less than double what we had planned. We weren't going to upgrade the cake but then saw one we fell in love with!

Phew what a week! I seemed to have spent more time in the car than at home this week. I only went to the gym once and that was just to go on the sunbed. I wasn't being lazy, I was just really tired and not going has made me feel sluggish.

I went for my final dress fitting and it looks so good, especially with 3.5" less of me in it :rotfl:

The seamstress did a bustle for me on the train and also one either side of the central bustle and it looks fantastic - just a bit of the material on the floor to sweep behind me. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!

I took my flight case in and the shop is going to steam the dress and pack it the day before I pick it up. They are letting me hire a crinnie for 4 weeks at less than half the cost of buying one which is fantastic. It's a quiet time of year for them so they offered me the crinnie rather than buying one. How good is that? They could have had more money from me.

I started to feel a bit overwhelmed with everything this week and took a deep breath this morning and started to look at what needed doing. On the wedding planning side there is nothing, we have confirmed all the times with the vendors and paid for everything we can.

Tim is now working 12 hour shifts and will be right up to the day we fly so we don't have much time during that last week to get things packed and ready. When he is at home he is absolutely shattered so I am doing as much as I can with the wedding stuff, packing, cooking, cleaning etc.

I've nearly finished the itinerary cards with our reservation numbers on, phone numbers etc so that is another thing nearly done and ticked off the list.

We went through the holiday cases and sorted out some of our clothes to take and threw away some old ones. I have thrown out half of my wardrobe as nothing fits anymore!

I started to get the goodies together that I bought ages ago for the welcome bags/wedding favours and they look really good. I have some things to buy for them when we are out there so feel happier that they are coming together. I've been buying things for the last 18 months...

I've just bought wedding pressies for Tim, my Mom and my Dad and got cards for each of them to open on the morning of the wedding. I've been making something for my Mom for ages and I finished that last weekend. I'm going to post it separately as I know my Mom has a link to this PJ.

We've got a lovely present for our planner and that is in the case ready, along with a thank you card and paper.

I'm frustrated as I have nowhere to put the cases out to put things in and I'm worried I'm going to forget something. My packing list is getting longer and longer to include everything!

I am getting my hair highlighted next week and then I'm straight off to the salon that is doing the extensions so they can colour match and order the hair. Next is getting them fitted - I am so looking forward to it!!

There isn't that much to do really but it ran away with me this week.

Right, enough of all that. Back to being me, back to the gym and back to being super organised.

Thank you sweetie :goodvibes i thought it was really good of the bridal shop to do that for me. Next time i get married I'll definitely go back there :rotfl:

Oooh, I know! You're not that far behind either...

Do we overlap I forget? I'm there from the 25th.

I thought so, 28th is my Bday.

It would be great to run into each other.

We'll more than likely be in epcot on one of the days if you plan to be there? What have you got planned for your birthday?

Ah no Epcot is the 29th!

What are you doing on Christmas Day? We are hopefully going to MK.

We'll be at DTD on the night of the 26th.

I don't know what I'm doing on my Birthday, DF has planned a surprise (I made him).
