I'm in with all of you! Afterwards, let's hop on Pirates and jump out so we can enjoy our alcohol with the rowdy pirates. I'll bring multiple refillable mugs from years past, for anybody who forgets theirs. I'm also bringing expired room keys so we can all try to enjoy EMH, even if your not staying on site. It's going to be QUITE the party. VIVA LA RULE BREAKING MAYHEM!

He wasn't calling you a liar. He was saying just because you saw someone drunk does not mean Epcot is overrun with alcoholics. He also pointed out that just because he HASN'T seen any drunks at Epcot, it doesn't mean there aren't any there.

This argument always makes me laugh. I have been to EPCOT more times then I can count, both during food and wine and not. I have never seen anyone out of control drunk, peeing in bushes, throwing up or stumbling around. Have I seen people drunk. Guess so. Usually I just see people having fun. Nobody out of control or over the top. Sometimes I think people see more then there is when they are heavily opposed to things.

I've been to Epcot almost every year since it opened. I've been to F&W. I'm going there in the beginning of Nov. with the kids. I have never seen drunk people and I've certainly have never seen people peeing in the bushes or throwing up.

First, I have to laugh at the posters who think they know "what Walt would have wanted if he were still here". No one knows that.
Second, if you don't want to drink alcoholic beverages at BOG, then DON'T DO IT. Nobody is going to force it down your throat.
Third, there may be folks who overindulge at F&W but I do not believe it is rampant; in many visits I have not observed it. Not saying it doesn't exist but it is a food and WINE festival!

maybe disney will make those 3 foot long booze tube drinks like in vegas. i've seen that those things come with a neck strap now so in case your too wasted to hold onto the drink, it's still secure around your neck like a boozey feed bag. i'm sure they can fashion one with ears on it!

So following that logic, you think Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and the rest of Walt Disney World is a bad idea as it's undeniably far from the Disney World he originally planned?

Firstly, that isn't proof. Unless you have documented evidence that the results of one lead to another. You don't. What you're doing is implying that correlation implies causation and that is not true. When you have evidence that the decision to expand the alcohol offerings was SOLELY the result of the initial alcohol sales (as opposed to being part of a long term plan for instance) then you will have grounds to make that assumption. Until then it's speculation.

I feel it is simple proof. You start with table service only, and add and add right up to carts in the walkways, and then more drunks show up, it all follows.............simple proof

Secondly, this gives me the impression that you've never really been to a grimy carnival. It isn't slowly becoming that at all.

I'm not talking about the other parks having alcohol. I'm talking about the other parks existing at all. You don't top pigs with pigs was a saying that Walt himself coined. He had no interest in making more theme parks. He's been quoted as saying that it didn't interest him because Disneyland was the place where he could evolve the theme park idea whenever he wanted to. The florida Magic Kingdom was only to act is a source of revenue and tourism for EPCOT, the true purpose of the property in Florida. Anyone who studied Walt would know this. Epcot was far from what he envisioned and the other parks weren't even in his plans. All one has to do is look at the Florida Project plans in the famous EPCOT movie to see that WDW today is far from what he was planning. So following your logic, you're against WDW as much as you're against alcohol in the MK.

........please but put your extensiontion over my opinions.............Wlat only spoke of to my knowelge of the mk and Epcot as real city. He never spoke of more parks but that doesnt mean he may not have built more parks.................this is not the same as the alcohol in the mk..that was a consitant oipiniom well documented.

That's called anecdotal evidence, and it's the least reliable form of evidence. I've been going to Disney since I was around six and I've never see drunks at Epcot. Clearly that means there's NO alcohol problem. See how that works?

It's possible that you COULD be right in the end. But right now, you only using limited facts to form an educated guess. Just because someone else thinks it will have a different outcome does not mean they are calling you a liar.

It would be like going to a roulette table and calling everyone liars because they didn't bet on the same number as you.
