Alaskan cruisers: can you share your glacier photos and where was your best photo with them?

And this is what we saw of the Denver Glacier on a White Pass Rail/Hiking excursion in Skagway (this was a very physical excursion-it was a 5 mile hike on a very uneven surface-they do not normally make it to the point you can see the glacier).

Gorgeous pictures.

Wow! People got some good glacier shots. We went on the Alaskan cruise a couple of weeks ago and we roamed around deck nine that day. Mind you it is very crowded up there that day! It was worth it though:) I will post pictures when I am done earning my ears. lol

Mickey was out on deck nine. He was worth waiting for:))

We roamed around and took a lot of pictures of our own too. So many amazing views that day!

Shutters took amazing photos in front of the glacier and had it roped off so people didn't get in your photo. front of the ship, starboard side.

If you wait until the ship turns later in the day the crowd clears out and you can still get a great family shot with the glacier in the background (you'll just need to nicely ask somebody else to take it). We had Shutters take our picture early in the day and it didn't turn out, so we were glad to get one on our own camera later.

There are some lovely pictures here. Will post some, but must get my post count up first.....

These pictures are too gorge!! 15 days until we leave for Vancouver for the 24th sailing!!!! Excited isn't the word. Doesn't seem real at the minute.

You can see a couple of seals on the floating ice. This was South Sawyer Glacier at Tracy Arm last year.

Can you please tell me what deck of the wonder you are on to see Minnie?

I'm determined to find Minnie during the day to get photos so I want to know where I should scope her out :)

Thank you!!

Minnie was all over on Tracey Arm Day. I had a pic with her on Deck 4, others up on the pool deck.

We spent most of Tracey Arm Day on Deck 4. Was not crowded at all. Got some great shots and because we were hanging out near the door we could scoot right through the ship to the other side so we never missed anything. The pic above with the eagles swooping down to its nest is one of my fav nature shots!
