And this is what we saw of the Denver Glacier on a White Pass Rail/Hiking excursion in Skagway (this was a very physical excursion-it was a 5 mile hike on a very uneven surface-they do not normally make it to the point you can see the glacier).

Wow! People got some good glacier shots. We went on the Alaskan cruise a couple of weeks ago and we roamed around deck nine that day. Mind you it is very crowded up there that day! It was worth it though I will post pictures when I am done earning my ears. lol

If you wait until the ship turns later in the day the crowd clears out and you can still get a great family shot with the glacier in the background (you'll just need to nicely ask somebody else to take it). We had Shutters take our picture early in the day and it didn't turn out, so we were glad to get one on our own camera later.
Minnie was all over on Tracey Arm Day. I had a pic with her on Deck 4, others up on the pool deck.
Seals on the ice:
We spent most of Tracey Arm Day on Deck 4. Was not crowded at all. Got some great shots and because we were hanging out near the door we could scoot right through the ship to the other side so we never missed anything. The pic above with the eagles swooping down to its nest is one of my fav nature shots!
