Hi everyone. Sounds like everyone is furiously packing or have already left. It's encouraging to hear that most of you are having trouble sticking with the amount of luggage you had originally planned for. Trying to keep each piece under 50 lbs. was a struggle for us.
On Saturday the 9th we were supposed to fly Delta, Colorado Springs to Seattle with a stop in Salt Lake City, arriving at 9:40 am. When we got to the airport gate they told us they were running late, we would not make our connection, & they'd have to reroute us. They put us on a United Flight with a 4 hour layover in LAX. We finally landed in Seattle at 3:30 pm about 6 hours after we were first scheduled to land. We had plans to meet one of Allen's friends from college for lunch but had to cancel that.
On Sunday we took a whale watching tour out of Anacortes, WA. I got to see my first ever (in the wild) Bald Eagle. We saw Orcas (K-pod family) & I actually saw the new baby that was born recently.
Tuesday the 12th we rode the morning Amtrak from Seattle to Vancouver, BC. We checked into our B & B got settled, headed down to the pier where the Wonder was docked. Later we watched the Disney Wonder sail out, leaving the dock at 4:42 pm. We watched the boat drill & it took 30 minutes.

I don't ever remember it taking that long in the Bahamas or the Caribbean.
Yesterday we took the Trolley Tour & had lunch in Granville Island.
Tomorrow we plan to do Stanley Park & the aquarium.
Then Grouse Mountain & Capilano Bridge over the weekend.
On Monday we move over to the Pan Pacific.
Wishing you all safe travels to Vancouver. Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
Don't pack too much!
