Hey there fellow DISers!

Me (47), DW(47), DS (21) and DS (9) will be shipping out to deploy aboard Wonder for this cruise. 1Goofy and the Mrs. celebrating (by July 2011) a belated 25th Anniversary (silver FE gifts encouraged!)

Can't wait! Looking at a couple of pre-cruise days in Vancouver, so we'll be keeping an eye on the this thread for tips.

Hope to have a good FE group; just did our first exchange earlier this month and it was truely more blessed to give than to recieve...great fun trying to come up with unique ideas.

On our most recent cruise, we linked dining assignments with other DISers that were in the FE group -- was great fun and would recommed it for this group if any of you are game...

Hope to meet you on board...maybe we need to set up a meet & greet champagne send off?!

Welcome aboard!!

I am going to be heading up the FE exchanges. Once we get about 6 or so months out we will get a better idea of who is participating and then of course we will probably get a few more people to join closer to the date.

On my cruise in October we assigned people to a day to deliver their items so that you got something every day, it worked out well, so if everyone is in agreement we will probably do that again!!

Hi All!

I am stuck at home this weekend because the dh is on call so here I was sitting here playing on my iPad and feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't go anywhere when the mail came and guess what was in today's post?

Go ahead, guess... Give up? It was my welcome packet for our cruise! Suddenly being stuck in the house on a beautiful sun-filled day doesn't seem so bad.

Of course finding out that the ship will be departing at 3pm from Vancouver and that all aboard is at 1:30 came as a bit of a surprise. I wonder what time we will be allowed to board at the earliest.

Currently my plan will be to try to be among the first folks on the ship but I will have to see what everyone else in my group wants to do. We are all linked together and some are traveling at the concierge level (either the Walt or Roy suite). Has anyone else done this when they weren't the one in the suite?

They seem to think (the folks with the suite) that we will all be able to board together via priority booking. Any info here would be helpful.

3. To catch up with everyone...

Two weeks to Disneyland and to see WOC. Four weeks to retirement. A little more than a year to Alaska. Life is good. Still trying to decide if we will drive or fly to Vancouver.

I hope everyone has a safe and restful weekend. On Memorial Day: Thank You to those who have given their lives in duty to our country.

Wow we board early. We are also thinking of doing a few days in Seattle and then maybe a few in Vancouver before the cruise.

WOW! if all aboard is at 1:30, then how early must we disembark the following Tuesday so they can turn the ship around for the next cruise?

Welcome Aboard and I have posted your info on page #1 Also do you have main or late dining? Cabin #'s and will all of you be in the FE?

Can everyone PM me on who is in so far for the FE....please let me know who in your party will be in it...Tom you have a gazillion people so let me know who is so far in for it.

As this thread grows with posters I will re- arrange the names in a different order....... so to save space. I will be putting an FE next to the names in purple next to the names of the cruisers that will be in it. You will also see that next to Schachteles name is the same color since she will be coordinating the FE.

Schachteles, if you would like it done another way let me know. Otherwise I will just put the FE information of whose in next to their names and the ones that are not I will put nothing. See page one so far.

The taxes have gone up $7.93 per person for all passengers regardless of age.

Over the next few weeks we will be modifying all Alaskan Cruise reservations in our system to reflect the new cost of the taxes. We wanted to make sure you were aware of this ahead of time so you were not surprised to see the increase in your cruise total. When we are done the new pricing for your cruise will be reflected in the Client Services area of our site.
