Did not see hypnotist as it doesn't tickle my funny bone (or, it didn't on previous cruises).

Got on stage for this guy on our last cruise and because he could not "put me under" he kicked me off. I really did try to do as he said but it just didn't work on me. :confused3 I found him only slightly entertaining and will probably not go back. :wizard:

Agreed - let Disney know.....

Do you think that a split neutral density filter would be helpful here or is it just better to shoot in RAW format and edit it? :confused3
Say, what? I think I might have had a UV filter on the camera at one time - not sure it is still there. I have to admit, I don't really know what you are talking about - but would like to learn. I just basically point and shoot with my Canon EOS Rebel (2006 edition).

At this point, I am about half way through my pictures of Tracy Arm!! A very beautiful, somewhat other-worldly place (to me).

Sorry.

This filter lets more light in on the lower half of the scene while letting less in at the top (or vice versa if you turn it upside down).

In the case of the your photo with the water, mountain and sky where the sky is washed out a bit it would give the sky a little more detail.

BTW .... thanks for the photos. They are very good and helps me in my planning for our trip.

AMAZING PICS! Did you camp out in the front of the ship all day to get these shots? Where did you camp out/sit?!
You can get shots like these from anywhere on the ship. I did happen to be at the front of Deck 10, but the ONLY shots where that proved to be an advantage was the inclusion of the Micky Icon in pictures.

I can see where such a filter would be helpful. Next time!

Oh, Ellen, those are absolutely gorgeous photos. :thumbsup2 Makes me kinda want to go there. But weren't you worried at all about hitting an iceberg? :confused3 I mean, look at some of those babies. But the scenery you are shooting is just amazing. So glad that I am able to enjoy this through your eyes.

Thanks!

Figures you would know that! BTW, we thought of you while enjoying that Chianti at Palo's!

Heee! You were enjoying the cool beauty of Alaska while we were BOILING at Epcot. You got the better end of the stick in that deal!

I forgot to mention earlier, the Wonder plays the Wilderness Lodge music in the hallways. I listen to that sound track often, as it is on my music player. Took me a couple of days to make the connection to the Pacific Northwest. Not sure I get the connection - I usually think of the Lodge track as more American Southwest (cowboy themes) than Pacific Northwest, but I was glad to hear it on the trip nonetheless!

I'll start on the Skagway pictures tonight.

First one..... In port.....

At this point, I left my SLR in the room, as I did not know what to expect in the way of bike stability and took the rest of Skagway pictures with the PnS. Those, up next.
