Up to this point, you been viewing Skagway from the deck of the ship - kind of amazing all by itself. Once off the ship, we proceeded to the train - our destination = Fraser Pass (highest point on the journey). View before we started to climb - it was a bit misty
Since I wanted to take pictures (unobstructed by windows) slightly more than I wanted to hear the spiel, we elected to stand on the platform between rail cars for the entire trip (about 1.5 hours)
Train makes stops - in this case, a group looked like they were getting off at the caboose to have a picnic....
