Heard back from hamm1207, they actually moved from Texas to Alaska and they are no longer going on the cruise.

Everyone else was still a go and no other changes that I am aware of.

There is still about a week to join in if any one else is interested in participating in the Fish Extender exchange. The list will be finalized on 8/1.

I think I have all my door signs printed--took a whole color cartridge printning them for 3 doors!

Hurray - finally got my FE pouch complete! My Home Ec teacher prob wouldn't give it over a C= - but I'm fairly happy with the way it turned out.

Very cool! I am gonna wait once we have our group complete and do the mad rush to make sure I have everything for everyone. Thanks so very much for keeping us all on track!

I am not sure about it since they don't sound like they do it the same as the regular Bahama or Caribbean cruises.

Great question...I was thinking the same thing! Got my cruise docs yesterday so it's all official now!

Paula, so sorry to hear about the robbery and glad nobody was hurt. My inlaws business is on 3rd downtown, it can get a little dicey down there in their area...they have had their windows broken out recently.

That's horrible that they get vandalized. All in all we don't have too many problems, my Shell has been robbed 1 time in the last 9 years, while my other station I think that made #12 in 7 years. (At one time we had several crack houses and it seemed like we were getting held up every couple of months--but it is much better now)

All I ever wear for pirate night is a tshirt and pirate Mickey ears. (Alan has the Goofy pirate ones). I am leaning towards not bringing them though. I haven't asked any of my family if they are even interested in it............... so I will more than likely let it slide this cruise

We will be, but maybe so as much as we do on other cruises sicne we're flying instead of driving and have to worry about the weight of our bags.

I have a PoTC4 t-shirt and a Disneyland hoodie with the Fab 5 in pirate costumes - that's probably about as far as I'm going to go with dressing up - seems a bit out of place in Alaska....

Still looking forward to the buffet, tho!

we are dressing up for pirate night! we were pirates for halloween one year so we are just trying to add some "disney" touches to our pre-existing costumes!

I am glad no one was hurt from it. Piikea are you still going to Haines while in Skagway? Pictures I have seen posted for excursions there look really nice.

My store on Broadway got robbed early this morning. My employees are okay-- I feel bad because I didn't hear my phone ring. I wish they would have tried calling again. I don't have many of the details--but I hope I got a good picture of the guy--last one had his face covered--so no way to catch him. I know C-stores seem to make good targets, but 10 years in prison for less than $100 bucks doesn't make sense. Scum bags...............

Well, I a m playing catch up here. We spent the weekend down in San Deigo. We went to Sea World and the following day we visited the USS Midway. Both days were great. I was completely drenched on the Rapids ride. Good thing it was a nice, hot day.

Glad to hear that folks are receiving their documents. Hope that ours come today.

Yes, it was fun. We met some friends of mine and then some friends of Eric's. It just made it all the better to be doing something like that with friends.

Glad the you have your docs, Paula. I am so hoping ours are here. It is so silly, but it just seems to make it more real and imminent!!! Can't wait to meet everyone.

~ been on one DCL before in 96 and don't remember anything about it except for Castaway Cay.

So there is another buffet on Pirates night? I thought it was just like the Sail Away, another on deck party that you dress up for.

There is a dessert buffet!?! I will definetly need to plan for this since I plan all my meals around what I am going to eat for dessert

I gotta go check those navigators out again.

Is there anything else? I plan to hit all the shows. I plan to do all three restaurants at least once and then do Palo. I am going to the Sail Away party, the Pirate party and the Captain's Gala on the last night. I think I have it covered.
