ALASKA - August 30th, 2011 - Mickeys Mooseketeers & the last Alaskan Cruisade! New Th

What time was your flight? We are concerned with having enough time to get to our plane as the latest flight we can find departing Seattle is 3:11 pm.

My flight was at 3:30 p.m. I checked in at Delta in less than 5 minutes and was at the gate in another 10. I still had an hour before the flight, so I had plenty of time. It was a Tuesday, midday, so not a problem.

Thanks! Still concerned if there is any delay at the border we may be pushing it.

Finally booked our air fare today flying in and out of Seattle. I doubled checked the rental car I had reserved from Vancouver to SEATAC and realized it was quoted as returning to Vancouver, not one way so had to fix that. It is cheaper for us to rent two mid-sized cars one way than one large SUV or mini-van.

Anyway, at least that's one less thing to worry about!

Yipee:banana:you crossed an item off the list! very happy for you.

I still have our transportation questions open between the airport and hotel in Vancouver. And the online check in:sad2: (she actually asked me when was the latest we could complete that:scared1:)

So, if she doesn't do the check in items until the very end, do you think there will be problems with getting the time we want to arrive for check in or is that just a guideline?

My list of items isn't getting crossed off too quickly.:headache: ah well...keep thinking bears and whales and mickey, Oh My!:yay:

Thanks! I really did get tired of checking fares and comparing cities. Southwest started a fare sale which many followed but none good for Sept 6 so sale helped us get to Seattle cheaper, but not home.

I know our cruise will seem like it goes by that fast! ;)
I know! Sometimes I think it's more fun in the planning because it flies right by when you are on there. I'm swamped right now over the next week but am going into full blown planning mode right after. Can't wait!!!

Now that I have our flights, I need to start researching airport transfers from SEATAC to our hotel near the Space Needle. We'll have 5 people plus lugagge so would probably take two cabs (or one BIG one) but would prefer a private car service so there is less waiting. Any recommendations (especially any with deals ;) )?

Has anyone tried to make a magnet out of our cruise moose logo? I want one. I have to figure out how to make those door magnets again.

The cruise is getting closer. YEAH!!!

Kim, I haven't done it yet but, I will be doing that probably the beginning of next month. What I do is simply print the imagine directly to some magnet paper. Or, when push comes to shove, I print the imagine on some nice photo paper and then put a couple of strips of magnet tape to the back.

Hope that helps.

Just did a proof-of-concept for one of my FE gifts & it turned out pretty darned well - just needs a few tweaks & I'll be ready to make the rest! We're doing a couple things per cabin - store-bought & mostly Disney-themed, but we're including one item that's Indiana-related (after all, we are the Disney, Indiana podcast!

Still need to finish my FE - I want to embroider our names on each pocket before stitching it all together. It's definitely going to look homemade, but I'm pretty happy with what I've got done so far.

Next up - the door magnets!

I am still not finished my FE. I have it all sew'n up but need to put some pics on the pockets.

We only have a black and white laser printer so I don't see Magnets in our future. :sad2:

Well made it back home in one piece after spending a week with the family. Leaving again July 15th to go with some peeps:) Hopefully I get some time to ketchup with you all this evening:) It's getting closer:banana::banana::banana:

My name is Marni and my family and I will be joining all of you on the Alaska cruise. I have been studying up on FE, etc. and we would be happy to be part of the FE exchange, too. This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise and our first on the Wonder. We went on the Mediterranean cruise last Sept on the Magic and now we are hooked. We are already booked on the Fantasy next April! I have been reading everyone's posts about Vancouver airfare and shuttles from Seattle to Vancouver. We are flying from Portland, Or to Vancouver and just bit the bullet. I look forward to getting to know everyone a little better over the next few weeks and to enjoying our wonderful cruise to Alaska with all of you.

Here's my info:
