Hey, Beth, Marni, here. We met on the Western Europe cruise. Happy to see you still planning Disney Cruises. Hope all goes well for you. Looks like we will just miss each other on the Wish. We are scheduled for July 8-11 and 11-15. Hope to see you on a cruise again some day! Wishing you and your family a great vacation.
Hi Marni!!
Of course i remember you!!
so nice to hear from you!
We had two cruises in 2020 that were cancelled. One on the Dream and one on the Wonder.
And another on the Dream in 2021 that we cancelled when we couldn't get to the USA because of covid.
When the wish itineraries came out, we booked on opening day (on opening gold day).
It really never crossed my mind that summer 2022 would have any kind of cloud hanging over it.
We'd had a huge trip for all 9 of us for summer 2021: 24 days at WDW followed by 4 days on the Dream.
But as i said, we had to cancel it because of covid and our inability to get to the states.
So we moved the whole thing to 2022 and made it even more insane. 25 days at WDW, 3 days at universal, 4 days on the Wish, and then the wonder in alaska.
Hopefully this will come to pass.
We did do something disney related last night.
We all went to see Fantasia with live music performed by the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
It was SPECTACULAR!!!!! so great. Philharmonic hall was packed. Every seat sold.
And so many little kids, it was wonderful to see how much they enjoyed it.
The orchestra was amazing. Such magnificent sound. I'm not actually a fan of Fantasia but with the live music it was incredible.
And clearly everyone thought the same.
The audience gave a standing ovation that went on and on and on and on.
You could see how happy the orchestra was to see the hall completely full.
Of course, we all had masks on and everyone was either fully vaccinated or had a covid test in the past 24 hours.
But the orchestra wasn't masked so it looked normal looking at them.
Our 6 and 7 year old grandkids LOVED it.
They sat riveted.
The orchestra was on the stage and the large screen was above them so you could see both at the same time.
And it was a very very full orchestra so the sound was amazing!!!
We would have gone again, but all the performances are sold out.
