Alaska 06/11/12 Anyone Sailing ?

I'm excited to have movies on our ship! We've never been on a cruise that had family-friendly entertainment, aside from one or two stage shows. <tee hee> No matter the movie title, we'll love it!!

Pat - like us, you're also from Indiana. Are you packing long sleeve shirts? I'm still on the fence about this. All reports are highs in the 50s right now, which seems like spring to us.
(Layers are a given, it's a question of long sleeves w/layers over it, or short-sleeve and layer over it.)

I've packed two long sleeve shirts and two 3/4 sleeve shirts but they are very light weight shirts. I think you'll be fine with what you've chosen. I'm packing a few long sleeves for my grandson, but he's from Florida so Alaska will feel like winter to him. Just pack like Indiana fall or spring and you should be good to go.

That is what I am figuring, a New York October.

But I..NEED..To..PACK. I am starting to get a little stressed now. To many things have come up. Family visiting, bridal shower tomorrow, laundryIt never ends. I need to get this in. You always think you have all the time in the world. Now I have less then a week. Where has the time gone!

Ah yes packing... well I have a suitcase out, does that count? Trying to finish up the FE gifts this weekend and then will start packing. Again thankful I get 2 free bags per person on Delta, now just have to listen to my husband complain about all the luggage Have all our stops saved as favorites on the Weather Channel app on my phone. We have been 80/90's here except yesterday when 60 and rainy. Had to do a zoo field trip with my daughter so we got to try out our raincoats and waterproof shoes. Testing went well and can't wait to put them into action for real!

Went to the doctors yesterday...at my husband's insistance...turns out I have bronchitis.

Well...at least I found out in time to get better BEFORE the cruise...just one more square in a crazy quilt of hurdles to overcome by June 10th!!!

I feel for you. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still not 100%.

Still working on our packing. I'm trying to finish most of it this weekend. Oldest DS graduated last night. Younger DS still has a few school functions this week. I need to clean and finish packing by Friday when I leave for my Girls Beach Trip. Come home on Sat night and leave for airport at 3AM on Sun morning. What was I thinking????

I feel for you. I don't have bronchitis but I have been fighting a stubborn cold and allergies. Just try and rest! I am sure with your meds you will be better. I will send some pixie dust your way

We are finally packed! It was an all day event yesterday but now it is real. The Borrow lens people billed me for my rental lens too, so I should get that Weds. Now I just need to get through until Thursday.

I've packed warm weather clothes during cold weather months for spring trips before - but packing fleece and warm clothes during air conditioner season just seems weird!

I am soooooooooooo ready!!!! All packed and just waiting on my grandson to get here on Saturday. Car service is picking us up at 6:15 am on Monday to go to the airport. See you all on the Wonder @ the Promenade Lounge!!

We leave on Saturday, and I can't believe how slow these last few days are moving. I'm usually buried in last minute details on the final days, but this time I'm ahead of the game, so the time seems to drag. Thanks to all of you for helping me feel so prepared for this trip!
